“overrated project”I think this project is overhyped. yes, their marketing is good but there are many similar blockchains out there. it has nothing special. it's a fake hype like eclipse hype and everyone will know it after the mainnet

“Fast Blockchain”Monad is a very fast l1 blockchain in the testnet stage and it honestly feels like mainnet. I also have been creating content for monad in my x and it just a whole another wibe. Community is just amazing and always help each other. And team is just awesome having many meetups all around the world. Overall bullish on monad now that the mainnet is close

“Another soon-to-fail project”So many projects have crashed and burned after disappointing their own community and Monad looks like it's next in line. Sure, the tech behind Monad is pretty good, but sadly the team decided to turn a blind eye to the real contributors from their own community. Out of over 700K members on Discord but only 5.5K members were considered "eligible" for the airdrop. Even worse, around 225K non-community folks somehow made the cut and the funny (or tragic) part is they got way bigger amount of airdrop than the actual Monad community. Monad also started a new kind of trash trend in Web3. They used to hype and reward random "female community members" just for posting selfies with captions like "Gmonad". And even after the airdrop wrapped up, this cringe trend spread into other projects. Tbh, it's annoying as hell. As if a cute selfie and a short caption suddenly make you a "Contributor".
