I joined initially just to find airdrops linked to large fundraising rounds, but over the past two years, Monad has transformed my perspective. I opened my mind to learning how Layer 1 blockchains work, why Monad was created, and why it was built as a high-performance, secure, transparent system using parallel execution to handle up to 10,000 transactions per second. Unlike other projects, Monad supports Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility, allowing efficient creation and deployment of smart contracts without reinventing programming languages. This approach empowers those with little crypto knowledge to understand through clear communication and creative expression. Many of my friends evolved from cartoon artists to owners of ecosystems on the Monad chain as they experimented on the testnet. “good project, but a lot of farmers”I think Monad is a solid network overall — the transaction speed is impressive and the user experience feels very smooth. That said, it does feel a bit overfarmed at the moment, with lots of wallets competing for rewards. Because of this, I feel only a relatively small group of users will likely receive meaningful airdrops. My guess is it might play out similar to Eclipse, where being active in the core community or holding a Discord role could end up making the bigger difference.

“Monad doesn’t reinvent anything.”Yes, it’s fast. Yes, the ecosystem is already surprisingly rich. But when you look closer, it’s mostly a familiar mix : DEXs, bridges, perps. Nothing new in the sea of dApps being deployed. The community feels like an army: focused, organized… but borderline militant. I’m really curious how that energy holds once the airdrop expectations aren’t met Right now, Monad is interesting. Long term? I’m not convinced yet. I really hope that all my bros who’ve put time and energy into Monad won’t feel let down when the airdrop lands.

The level of engagement and participation speaks volumes. It’s not just noise; it’s a sign that people see real value here. That kind of long-term groundwork gives me confidence that Monad is building with intention and staying focused on delivering something meaningful. Monad have also rolled out its public testnet, distributing test tokens to roughly 9 million Ethereum addresses and showcasing a directory of 50+ live apps for users to explore. “Best team, tech, vibe and community in this space.”I started actively contributing to Monad last year, and since then, it has become far more than just a project to me. It feels like a home, a place where I’ve been able to grow both personally and professionally while building my brand. The community and the founding team have been incredibly supportive from day one. They never told us what to do or what not to do, but instead guided us on how to approach things and get them done effectively. Most of crypto projects did not care about decentralization but Monad does! Monad team did not forget why we have been here in crypto space. They want to optimize both of performance and decentralization at the same time. “The fastest EVM L1”The monad chain is one i often liken to solana but not in ways that would interest L1 critics. I'd rather beg to differ when web3 natives frown at my perspective of this but i beg that you give me a chance to clarify. The EVM as we have known it to be is riddled with loads of bottlenecks and performance hasn't been one feature which we could ascribe to it without Solana MAXIs having to point out our age long struggle to keep up. But now we have monad which has managed to keep what makes EVM what it is whist still giving us speed and performance without sacrificing security or decentralization. For the first time since the inception of cryptography and blockchain creation we have bragging right as EVM natives, we have MONAD.
