Monad is a high-performance EVM-compatible Layer 1 with impressive technical architecture—parallel execution, 10,000 TPS target, and low latency—that has attracted a passionate community and strong funding. However, the project is deeply polarized: supporters praise the tech, speed, and community bonds formed during testnet, while a substantial portion of the community feels betrayed by the airdrop distribution, which heavily favored influencers and external crypto participants over testnet users who spent months testing and providing feedback. The core tension centers on broken trust—many early supporters view the tokenomics as extractive and the community rewards as unfair, with testnet participants receiving minimal allocation despite their contributions, while others remain bullish on the technical foundation and long-term potential.

“Purple Chain”Monad is a great mix of community & technology, with an amazing culture around building togetherness, support, progressiveness & adaptation. Monad sets itself apart from other project with their close bond with community. Monads are everywhere & it's fairly easy to get onboarded here. Team are super fun & well knowledgeable about what they're building in the space.

“blockchain with great ESCABILITY”One of the most anticipated projects by the crypto community. I hope MONAD will be the best blockchain when its mainnet launches. So far, its testnet is top-notch. I'm personally active, and everything is clean. I have no complaints about its network.

“Looking forward to mainnet launch”Ticking off the right boxes - strong team, infra, community, dApps launching etc. Can't wait for mainnet launch already

“Over Hyped Project”I don't like their engagement farming strategy. They literally created black market for their test tokens, like what's the point of buying tokens to test their product. I really don't get it, instead they should have done a invite based or closed beta only Testnet. Over farmed aswell so be careful

“A High-Performance L1”Innovative approach, but real-world performance is yet to be fully tested. Monad is a next-generation blockchain aiming to deliver high-speed, low-latency smart contract execution. With an Ethereum-compatible design and a focus on parallel transaction processing, it seeks to challenge existing Layer 1 networks. While its technology is promising, adoption and network security remain key factors to watch.

“regret and disappointment”I legit regret ever leaving a positive review for monad. the airdrop was a total mess, 99 percent of the people who actually tested and stayed loyal got nothing. months of grinding and hype just for them to reward randoms and skip the real ones. feels like they built all that trust just to throw it away in one move

“The Fast Lane”This Layer 1 is designed for ultra-high throughput, parallel execution, and modular scalability. It has attracted attention as a potential “Solana killer,” with strong backing and early developer momentum. Its architecture prioritizes speed without compromising decentralization, aiming to serve both DeFi and gaming sectors. Still early, but if execution matches ambition, it could be one of the next cycle’s winners.

“I'm not a Monadian but respect the project and its community”The hype around the Monad is not just a users greed and hunting for free $ from the project with huge investments. Opposite, it has own unique and dedicated community which performs daily tons of creative and positive content. I really like the vibes Monad-verse spread on CT and I believe it has even brighter future

“NEXT GENERATION BLOKCHAIN”Monad is L1 blockchain built for speed, scale, and seamless compatibility with the Ethereum ecosystem. Its architecture enables parallel execution and high throughput without compromising on decentralization. Distinguishing its shtick with a growing emphasis on NFT culture, it also cultivates a creative and engaged community by empowering artists, launching outstanding apps and hosting dynamic events on the chain.
