Monad is a high-performance EVM-compatible Layer 1 with impressive technical architecture—parallel execution, 10,000 TPS target, and low latency—that has attracted a passionate community and strong funding. However, the project is deeply polarized: supporters praise the tech, speed, and community bonds formed during testnet, while a substantial portion of the community feels betrayed by the airdrop distribution, which heavily favored influencers and external crypto participants over testnet users who spent months testing and providing feedback. The core tension centers on broken trust—many early supporters view the tokenomics as extractive and the community rewards as unfair, with testnet participants receiving minimal allocation despite their contributions, while others remain bullish on the technical foundation and long-term potential.

“M⨀nad is making parallel execution the future. ⨀💜⨀💜⨀💜”Monad is pushing boundaries with optimistic execution, single-slot finality, superscalar pipelines, and parallel execution. Fully EVM-compatible, it’s designed for speed, scalability, BFT-grade security, and ultimate real freedom for developers.Highbee ⨀ · 1312· 1y ago9
“Builder-First L1, Clear Signal”@monad is the rare L1 account that talks to builders first and lets hype trail behind. The feed focuses on what matters for an EVM-compatible chain aiming high throughput: execution research, ecosystem onboarding, and practical dev on-ramps (docs, grants/RFPs, hackathons). Communication is concise, technical without being opaque, and leans into parallelized/EVM-native narratives rather than generic “fast chain” slogans. Strong signals: Consistent ecosystem momentum (DeFi and infra teams exploring early deployments), plus community drives like Monad Cards that channel attention toward credible contributors. Developer-centric cadence: code/architecture explainers, calls for builders, and ecosystem alignment updates instead of vanity metrics. Clear expectations management around phases (testnet→mainnet), which keeps trust high. What to watch next: Liquidity bootstrapping (stablecoins, perps, blue-chip AMMs) on day one. Validator/economics details and decentralization at scale alongside performance. Early user programs that convert builder energy into real usage. Net: high signal, low fluff. If you care about the execution layer and want early reads on where serious DeFi/infrastructure teams are pointing, @monad is a must-follow.KRIPTO GÖZ · 1294· 1y ago9
“PROJECT OF CULTURE”One thing I like about MONAD is how the community stick together and support each other + how MONAD is able to shine light on it's apps and not the chain only.Creator JD · 1287· 1y ago9
“Monad is the future”Monad is the future of Layer 1, bringing simplicity at a very fast rate with minimal requirement (gas). Next gem layer 1 with parallel EVM compatibly. All the NFTs are gems, and we'll see a new NFT season start with Monad. Study Chog, Chogstars, RealNads, Spiky, 10ksquad, Lamouch and other big Monad NFTs. The community is a brilliant and loving one. Staying put to see how the future looks like with monad, but I hope for the best. GmonadRidwan😁 · 1211· 1y ago9
“My Favorite Project!”This has become my absolute favorite project—I literally spend most of my day here. The reason is simple: the community is super friendly, welcoming, and always active. Whenever I had questions or needed any help, the admins and members were quick to support me with patience and guidance. What makes this project special is not just the technology, but the positive vibe and helpful nature of everyone involved. It feels less like just a project and more like a family where you can learn, grow, and connect with amazing people every single dayMoinu · 1306· 1y ago9
“Powerful Layer1”Monad is one of the most exciting and technically impressive Layer 1 blockchains emerging in the cryptocurrency world. Designed with a strong focus on parallel execution and EVM compatibility, With its active testnet and the backing of the Monad Foundation, this project is pushing the boundaries of what's possible on an Ethereum-compatible infrastructure.AnibalLopez · 1248· 1y ago · neutral9
“lets go”I tested @monad during their last testnet - solid project with serious potential. Parallel execution and high throughput make me look forward to the mainnet launch.love_for_man87 Ⓜ️Ⓜ️Т · 1191· 1y ago9

“Compatible Layer 1”The Monad crypto project is a next-generation, high-performance, Ethereum-compatible Layer-1 blockchain known for its speed, low fees, and developer-friendly design. It has garnered significant attention and investment for aiming to deliver unmatched scalability while fully preserving the Ethereum experience.Monad is engineered for extremely high throughput (up to 10,000 transactions per second), instant finality (~1 second), and near-zero gas fees, all while maintaining complete EVM compatibility. This means that existing Ethereum smart contracts and tools work without modification on Monad. The project introduces advanced architecture such as asynchronous and parallel execution, MonadBFT consensus (an optimized BFT protocol), and a custom high-speed database (MonadDB). These features enable Monad to scale efficiently while keeping validator requirements reasonable and promoting decentralization.kaathu(Ø,G) .ink · 1311· 1y ago9
“community focus at its best”I’m straight up bullish on Monad. These guys brought that HFT energy into blockchain with 10K TPS, instant finality, and full EVM-compatibility, it’s basically Ethereum on steroids. What really gets me excited though is the community play. Monad never just pushed announcements they turned fans into builders. OG memes, public shout-outs, exclusive entry missions, even those wild ‘Purge’ purges to keep it exclusive? That stuck-together energy matters. Now with things like Monad Cards on X hand-picked roles, brings the whole network into the hype loop.Cryptamurai 🕯️ · 1375· 1y ago9
