“L1 that brings a good solution to the experiences”What makes Monad stand out is how it sticks to full EVM compatibility, so all existing Ethereum contracts and tools just work, but it completely rebuilds the backend for speed and scalability. It runs on parallel execution, pipelined processing, and its own consensus called MonadBFT. That’s how they hit 10K+ TPS, ~1 second finality, and super low gas fees. You don’t need to learn a new dev stack; it’s still Solidity, still ETH tooling, but way more efficient. I also like that the validator hardware requirements are relatively light, which could help long-term decentralisation. It’s still early (testnet stage), but the design is promising. If they execute well and get real ecosystem traction, Monad could end up setting the new bar for L1 performance.

“Chronicle of a Death Foretold”After a long period in the Monad Discord waiting room, I got bored and abandoned it. It was just too much pointless nonsense, for me. It reminds me a lot of Berachain, an ecosystem with tons of unfunded projects, with tons of farmers waiting for the airdrop. This is an obsolete system, as most farmers, once they receive the airdrop, sell it, the token price plummets, and the community dissolves. As a result, projects lack fee income and their treasury is decimated, leading developers to abandon projects, causing stagnation in innovation and maintenance of smart contracts. Monad has the same model: many projects, many farmers, little funding. Result after Token Generation Event ---> Caput.

“i don't see any innovation.”Monad is starting to feel like just another project trying to milk the Web3 community without bringing anything truly new to the table. Despite all the hype and noise, there’s little to show in terms of real innovation or value delivery. It’s becoming clear that the focus seems more on extracting attention and engagement rather than building meaningful tech or pushing the space forward. The recycled ideas and lack of innovation are red flags—just more of the same wrapped in flashy branding. Projects like this risk damaging trust in the ecosystem, especially when they take advantage of loyal communities without giving back in real progress. “Mixed Feelings”I've been interacting with the Monad tesnet for quite a while now and feeling a bit confused. Sure, many apps seem good, but at the same time, the whole experience is a bit overwhelming and it would require a LOT of time if wanting to fully take part in more than 3 protocols.
