“A new life”As moonbirds got recently acquired, im intrigued to see what they can do with the IP. The creative artists have always been pushing the limits and the story telling of moonbirds is of top quality.

“Heavy Baggage”Moonbirds have a poor history and even Yuga could not save it after buying it from KRO. Insane amount of raised funds and they still have not done anything meaningful for holders. Compare it to other top NFT collections like Pudgy Penguins who have/are building out entire IP universes or Crypto Punks for the legacy/provenance and it's just hard to see Moonbirds ever recovering.

“its time for the birbs to fly”i’ve been part of this community for a long time and one thing that has stood out to me is how different phases of the project have each had their own strengths. the launch of Mythics was a highlight for me. The way that experience, lore and podcasts unfolded felt thoughtful and well put together and it left a lasting impression. With the recent leadership changes under OrangeCapGames, the direction of the IP feels more defined. Spencer and the broader team have been clear about their approach and working alongside so many creative people in the ecosystem has been incredible. I truly believe that the birbs IP is going to be elevated under the new leadership, giving a great chance for the birbs to fly. The future is looking promising

“A Revitalized NFT project with strong community”I’ve been following Moonbirds closely, and the project has changed a lot since Yuga Labs acquired it in early 2023. One of the first things I noticed was the boost in market activity: the launch of the "Moonbirds Universe" drove a 227% jump in 24 hour trading volume, with the market cap hitting $23m, though the floor price dropped from over 30 ETH to 2.04 eth, showing how volatile the NFT market can be. Under Yuga Labs, Moonbirds moved away from Creative Commons Zero for new artwork, keeping commercial rights to make the pieces more exclusive. I also appreciate the new 3D virtual world and the technical upgrade of storing all artwork on-chain, which adds long-term security and extra features for PROOF Collective holders. Community engagement remains strong holders still get access to private PROOF channels, exclusive events, and creative projects through the Lunar Society. While some changes sparked debate, I feel the acquisition revitalized Moonbirds and set it up for long-term growth within a top NFT ecosystem.

“GAME CHANGER”Moon birds NFT changed my life and I will remain eternally grateful for the team making it a free and fair process. I was among the lucky winners of the raffle and got direct whitelist to mint the NFT. that far process gave hope and assurance to a lot of newbies that you can make it through crypto and NFT

“The new ownership brings back hope”Moonbirds was most hyped mints of last cycle, it went straight to 30E from a 1E mint. Some of the best creators had the moonbird PFP, I tried really hard to pool funds with other people to mint it, but didn't make it. The previous ownership ran it into the ground with a bunch of useless plays, floor tanked and everyone moved on. @spencer has now acquired moonbirds. I don't know spencer personally, but he built OCAP games and everyone that seems to have worked with him has nothing but good things to say. Plus the ties with LUCA and abstract cant hurt. There's a glimmer of hope for the Birbs!!
