Meanwhile, many genuine contributors got almost nothing—or nothing at all even after grinding days on Scroll Sessions. The worst part? Once the airdrop snapshot passed, user activity dropped by nearly 70%. Transaction volume cratered, showing that most participants weren’t genuinely engaged they were just farming marks, not sticking around. And unsurprisingly, the token price dropped by over 28% after launch when people cashed out their tiny allocations. It didn’t help that the marks system was confusing and lacked transparency. People had no idea why they earned so little or how rewards were actually calculated. The whole launch felt more like a missed opportunity than a reward for true early adopters far from the transparency and fairness the ecosystem deserves.
