People minted their NFTs and as always expected something in return for holding ,which came up short. The recur product itself eventually failed and closed up shop. Trying to remove funds from the platform was not a striaghtforward process either.

It’s reliable, familiar, and has built a strong reputation over time. Overall, my experience has been positive. It does what it’s supposed to do, connects easily to dApps, handles transactions securely, and supports a broad range of tokens. That said, MetaMask has a habit of pushing updates that can make the user experience more complicated than it needs to be. For example, some recent UI changes buried important settings behind extra clicks, or introduced new flows that feel clunky or less intuitive. One update moved the “custom RPC” section, which confused users (including myself) trying to add new networks. These changes aren’t dealbreakers but they do add friction, especially for less technical users. MetaMask is still a solid wallet, but from a product perspective, it would benefit from more user testing and a stronger focus on simplicity.
