Deeply knowledgeable about Hyperliquid, HyperEVM, and perp DEX farming with a genuine passion for the protocol. Known for being helpful, trustworthy, and willing to offer advice—with a distinctive sense of humor that resonates with those who know them. Currently building Quote.

“I left my job at JPM to build Quote”I have been trading on Hyperliquid since 2023 while building digital assets products for institutions, in the realm of fund tokenization. HL grew over time, and as an early believer, I advocated for perpetual futures inside JPM. In my eyes, among the many things that make Hyperliquid unique, two underused components are the amount of data available for any market and the team's composability strategy, which allows builders to submit orders on users' behalf. I see a future where perps themselves can be the most liquid instrument for trading internationally listed commodities or assets, serving as the backbone of global liquidity. The realization of what we are building at Quote came after noticing that most traders do not make use of the exchange's peculiarities. The transparency and composability of the orderbook mean that for the first time, trading execution knowledge can and should be productized, and that's what we have been striving towards. What we built is an ultra-performant execution engine (QEE) that translates a user's trade into an Intent, which the QEE then handles adaptively, prioritizing passivity for fee savings and volume-weighted execution to limit slippage. The name of the game here is not taking custody of users' assets or taking direction on the trade, but being the best executor, averaging a few bps saved per trade. Execution services similar to Quote have been limited to a subset of institutions for too long, accessible only to those willing to pay a monthly retainer (a few Ks) plus a variable cost of 2-3 bps based on trade size. The nature of how they built their business, between KYC, Compliance, Sales, and Solutioning teams, makes it impossible for them to achieve the same level of constant efficiency. The alternative we are launching is a permissionless service, which is the most efficient way to buy or sell an asset. Only possible if built from the ground up in a modular and permissionless way.on Quote · 1252· 4mo ago2
