The main reason why I think this is neutral for the industry is the targeted campaign of the OKX founder towards Hyperliquid, citing how it was going to be an FTX 2.0, which speaks to the intention of the leadership of the exchange - maintain the market share in the space without necessarily growing it further.

I regularly read everything he posts on his Telegram channel (Crypto Goodreads). The man always inspires self-reflection and awareness. I imagine that during the years, he had many opportunities to take lucrative deals, but he always decided to take the non-extractive way.

The methodology is regularly used by the Core team and stale. On his website and Twitter, there are many insights and thoughts.
