IgorChain · 1281· 12mo ago9“Duper – A Strategy-Packed Onchain Game”I first learned about Duper on Abstract, and while it seemed a bit challenging for beginners at first, it quickly became clear how approachable it is with a little guidance. The game brilliantly blends elements of poker, Catan, Diplomacy, and tower defense into a highly strategic, chess-like onchain experience. What makes Duper stand out is its replayability and intensity. Whether you’re playing for real cash or exclusive NFTs, the competition stays exciting, especially when skilled players gather in the same lobby. It’s also mobile-friendly, making it easy to enjoy anywhere. The main drawback is that newcomers may feel a bit overwhelmed at first due to the combination of multiple game genres. Additionally, it currently lacks multi-language support, which could make it harder for some international players to fully enjoy. Still, for those with a basic gaming foundation, Duper is fun, rewarding, and a unique way to engage with Abstract while farming experience for future airdrops.

americano🕯️ · 1224· 1y ago9“Pure skill game on abstract”Duper was one of the first big games I tried on Abstract. What makes it stand out is that it’s not just another luck-based game. You win or lose based on your skill and how well you play. Sure, a bit of luck helps, but it’s nowhere near as random as a lot of other games out there. If you enjoy getting deep into a game and spending hours perfecting your strategies, Duper’s perfect. It does take time to learn all the ins and outs, but it’s worth it. Plus, tournaments and quests keep things exciting, and if you ever want a taste of the gambling side, you can buy keys and try your luck for a Genesis NFT. Super solid game that’s all about putting your skills to the test.

CRYPTO JAY · 1220· 1y ago · neutral7“Community > Everything”At the end of the day, all the tech and tokens in the world don’t mean a thing if there’s no community behind them. A real community isn't just active—it’s invested, loyal, and honest. It's the difference between a project that lives and one that dies. I've seen it over and over again. You can’t fake vibes. If your people don’t feel seen, you lose.

Davy · 1346· 1y ago8“It's an insanely creative game, but the hard-to-learn system is a double-edged sword.”The blend of three-card poker, RTS, and some slick mind games is undeniably cool. Even though there aren’t any tokens yet, everyone paying the same entry fee means sustainability isn’t really a concern. Just looking at Duper’s game mechanics, it’s fascinating as hell and totally begs for a deep dive. Every moment, you gotta strategize, convince, and bluff. But, even after moving over to the Abstract chain and cranking up the marketing, the actual player count is seriously lacking. Most of the negative vibes come from complaints about the long runtime and the steep learning curve. In short, it’s a super niche game with a deep, engrossing vibe, but that inherent “hard-to-learn” factor is seriously blocking new players. This also hints at how tough it is to generate meaningful hype in the blockchain gaming space when it comes to setting benchmarks. It’s a great game on its own, but when you consider its blockchain appeal, it’s kind of a tough sell.

MOIRÉ · 1469· 1y ago · neutral12“Strategy game with some poker elements”Unlike most other games on Abstract which are semi-passive and simple in nature, Duper has much more active gameplay with lots of strategy involved. 4 vs 4 game where you have to progress your base and overtake other bases on the board. Also has some poker elements and card trading. Only little issue with it is that matches can be very lengthy and so degen folks might like it less.
