An early NFT pioneer since 2017 known for collecting CryptoKitties, Punks, and BAYC with strong on-chain credibility and mint-timing instincts; founded NFTBoxes to support emerging artists and has maintained a transparent, long-term presence in Web3. Reputation is contested—supporters credit genuine ecosystem building and consistency, while critics allege account compromise, exit-and-return patterns, and promotion of low-quality projects after early exits from major holdings.

“OG NFT collector and founder of NFTBoxes, shaping Web3 through early adoption and community engagement”Pranksy is one of Web3’s most influential NFT collectors, having entered the space in 2017 with just $600 in ETH. Since then, he has amassed a collection exceeding 45,000 NFTs and played a pivotal role in the rise of projects like Bored Ape Yacht Club, where he minted 1,250 Apes on launch day. As the founder of NFTBoxes, he curates monthly NFT collections to spotlight emerging artists and onboard new collectors. His trades—including flipping a Zombie CryptoPunk for a $1.2M profit in a single day—have cemented his reputation as a savvy investor and cultural tastemaker. Despite his anonymity, Pranksy’s impact on the NFT community is profound, blending strategic insight with a passion for digital art.Heiseneberg4L · 1194· 1y ago1

With years of experience, a massive reach, and a deep understanding of Web3 culture, he’s consistently supported projects that go on to thrive. What sets him apart is not just his influence, but his ability to spark real community interest, drive engagement, and bring credibility to the projects he backs.
