“PocketFi: A Hard Lesson Every Airdrop Hunter Should Know”I’m done. PocketFi was the last Telegram mining airdrop I’ll ever touch.Last year everyone and their mom was talking about it. “This one’s different,” “gameplay is actually fun,” “backers are solid,” blah blah. I bought the whole story. Went all in like an idiot.I dropped over $520 on Stars (have the TON receipts if anyone wants to call cap), bought every booster, woke up at 3 a.m. some nights just to do some daily routines so I wouldn’t fall off the leaderboard. Invited friends, posted referral links, the whole cringe thing. I honestly thought this was finally the one that would print. Then listing day came.No Binance, no Bybit, no KuCoin nothing. They dropped the token on some random DEX literally nobody uses. I swapped my airdrop the second it went live and walked away with $11.40. Eleven dollars and forty cents for half a grand and months of grinding.I sat there staring at my phone shaking. Not even exaggerating I felt sick. Had to close the app and go outside because I thought I was going to throw up.That was the exact moment killed Telegram airdrops for me forever. PocketFi was my last one, and I went harder on it than any before. The crazy part? The gameplay was actually decent. The Telegram mini-app didn’t feel like the usual trash. That’s why it hurt so bad everything looked legit until the money was on the line. Here’s the only thing I ask now when I see a new mining “opportunity”:If it’s just a game for fun: say that upfront. If there’s no plan for a real listing or real liquidity: say that too. If you know most people are going to end up with pocket change after spending hundreds: don’t let them find out the hard way. I’m not even mad anymore, just disappointed. I learned a $520 lesson so maybe someone else doesn’t have to. And yeah, I still have the wallet with the worthless tokens and the TON transaction history if anyone thinks I’m making this up.Never againon XPocket · 1356· 10mo ago · neutral17
