“Mayor of Solana”How does Bertram the Pomeranian, the Mayor of Solana & Dogs Worldwide, not even have a single review yet? This is a travesty that must be rectified. I came to discover Bert, not through the trenches, but as he was a candidate for Dog Mayor in NYC (don't worry, I immediately bought $BERT at the beginning of this story when he was a relatively unknown pup with a HUGE IG following). After I bought $BERT, this adorable, wise and respected candidate stormed through the field as if he was chasing a squirrel or barking at a random stranger. But then the FUD came. He and his community were seen as committing some sort of voter fraud (yes, this lore is actually true). Those who hate America and her ideals came after Bert (no bag bias here ofc). Naturally, his community rallied around him, but the drama persisted. Candidates dropped out, throwing out baseless accusations against the most qualified and cute candidate in the field. Even the NY Times showed their FUD with this headline, which by the way was on the front post of the fckin NY Times! https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/13/nyregion/new-york-mayor-voting-dog.html Bert, believing that the people deserved better, graciously bowwed out, accepting role as Vice Mayor so he could pull the strings for dark, cigar smoke filled rooms where the real decisions are made. But tragically, he passed shortly thereafter. RIP BERT. But Bertram did not die his vein. Throughout this ordeal, the community rallied around him for his committment to the ideals of making NYC a better place for dogs: free treats for all, picking up trash on the streets (but sometimes eating it) and barking at suspect characters to root out crime. And I haven't even gotten to the fckin coin itself, $BERT. You just need to look at the chart to see the resiliency in this bad boy (actually, very good boy). A memecoin with an actual community, I'll always hold some $BERT (but will sell more as we mooooooooooon).on Bert 🧸 🐶 · 1250· 1y ago28
