But my belief is the leaderboards obfuscate signal and create tons of noise. The vast majority of those yapping aren't doing it because they actually believe (or even use) the product. Instead, they do so for the promise of earning yaps. So folks are yapping to just earn yaps. We don't actually know if they use or even believe in the product. They have no skin in the game or downside. If you follow the incentive, you'll find the outcome. I will happily update my review to positive if the team implements mechanisms to ensure there is more quality, but today it is a sea of noise when we should be trying to find the signal.

From the Netherlands in 1600s to tea rooms in 18th century England, the ability for the common man to gain access to assets previously unavailable to them has led to wealth creation and advancement for common people in ways nobody could have imagined. However, even today most wealth and assets are locked into private markets, unaccessible to those without not just money, but the connections and relationships to reach those markets Echo is aiming to tackle this. By democratizing the access to invest, they are giving a whole new class of retail the ability to add skin in the game and support the creation of new businesses, diversity their own capital into new assets, and give the common man a chance to advance in society while supporting entrepreneurs Many investments will fail (power laws rule the world), but the Echo team is doing something to further open private markets to the public

Ostensibly just another ponzi, except this one didn't even work. I remember when he screamed and yelled at Anon on a spaces for calling him a scammer, when Anon clearly had correctly pointed out that his tech wasn't working. Yudag had to pull some funny mechanics off to get Anon his tokens back. Specifically what didn't work was the staking mechanism. Many staked, but then it appeared (just like me) that their staked tokens effectively had disappeared. I wrote off my initial investment, but out of curiosity went back to check my stake. Guess what? POOF! Gone. Disappeared. I guess the tech wasn't fixed at all. At least the ponzi game $WEED works! Not ready to do a full slash yet, but at a minimum Yudag build tech that simply doesn't work. At worse, this is straight scammer behavior. Would not invest again in any project from Yudag.

on Yudag · 1299· 1y ago · negative50“A Real One”I don't know Beamish, they only came across my feed when I saw them defend Lennart in the most recent slash where Lennart was defended. This has nothing to do with that slash, though. This instead is regarding Beamish after the slash concluded. He delivered measured takes and continued to defend Lennart as he believed was right. More than that, he went ahead and vouched for Lennart, who had been bumped into questionnable territory. To me, this is actual integrity. Friends don't abandon each other when shit gets bad. They don't run away. They stand on principles and do what they think is right. Cowards run, Beamish stood tall. Slashes arent automatically "this is a bad person", they may have just made a mistake and the slash is sufficient punishment for one fuck up. Clearly, Beamish believes Lennert is a good person and is willing to put their own skin in the game to back that up. We've all fucked up, right? But when you do, you want friends in your corner to pick you up. Beamish demonstrated that with his action and vouching. Ride or die. Mad respect from me for that move.

We met at a wedding and bonded over our love of ETH and Nassim Taleb. He is now the founder of Kinto, an L2 (one of the first to achieve stage1 appchain status) aiming to solve real problems in DeFi like compliance, usability, and long-term institutional trust. Him and the team have launched the concept of permissionless KYC, accommodating compliance needs while avoiding honeypot issues with CEX. In an industry where it's easy to chase hype or disappear when things get tough, Ramon has consistently done the opposite. Not everything he’s built has gone smoothly. The Kinto ICO launch had issues. Babylon, his previous project, was hit hard after the Rari hack. But what stands out is how Ramon and the Babylon team responded. Rather than walk away or shift blame, they took responsibility, shut the protocol down responsibly, and refunded users out of their own treasury. Everyone was made whole. That almost never happens in crypto. What defines a founder isn't whether they hit bumps in the road. It's how they respond when they do. Ramon faced the consequences, showed up publicly, answered hard questions, and kept building. Ethos exists to help separate the good actors from the bad, especially when the narrative is messy. Ramon belongs firmly in the category of a builder with integrity and real skin in the game. He makes bold bets, owns the outcomes, and keeps putting users and long-term vision first. If you're looking for a founder who only shows up when it's easy, look elsewhere. But if you value resilience, accountability, and someone who’s in it for the right reasons, Ramon is exactly the kind of builder this industry needs.

The man has been consistent since day 1, highlighting the benefits of Ethereum in comparison to competitors. He won't back down from a debate and backs up his convictions with facts, but is also humble enough to receive feedback and be respectful to those with differing opinions. But on top of that, he is a helpful and generous person. As I've started writing content on X, he not only promotes and replies, but is also willing to discuss ideas, offer critiques and even point out errors which I inevitably make. Taking time out of his day to help me --> that is not just the sign of a good community member, but a good person. He doesn't just provide alpha, but he genuinely looks to help and support others. Etc is a real one, plain and simple.

on Zaupna.somi (*,*) · 1295· 8mo ago · negative24“Needs to do better - undisclosed promotions”This is a negative review instead of a slash due to Cape’s acknowledgement of their error and commitment to not do this again. https://x.com/vert1dkrn/status/1950682452621406436 https://x.com/heycape_/status/1950845140416987634 But make no mistake, it should be obvious to anyone with a moral compass the risk in not disclosing when a project pays you to promote a product, service, app, whatever in exchange for guaranteed money upfront. It breaks the terms of service on X, It is illegal in many jurisdictions, But most importantly, it hides from followers that your interests might not be aligned with theirs. It obfuscates your true incentives and creates direct misalignment with those who follow you. Transparency only counts proactively, not reactively when busted. When used retroactively to state “I believe all creators should include a disclaimer for current and all future sponsored content” rather than simply own your failure is also not a good look. https://x.com/heycape_/status/1951081142381154348 Will be monitoring and hope Cape is good to their word, but worth monitoring.

In a place where comments are littered with emotional replies or comments saying "easy slash", "easy defend", Crypto Agent's reply stood out as one that actually considered things on a thoughtful way. We need more of that in CT and online in general.

They consistently deliver actionable commentary and cover new DeFi topics in a simple way that allows a curious investor to get a true sense of whether the protocol has some product market fit and isn't just VC vaporware while also not trying to overread too much into a situation based on anecdotal data. To me what is most impressive is his willingness to push discussions forward in a meaningful way while also being able to acknowledge when someone may bring new data to a conversation that alters his previous position. To be in research, you have to be humble and Michael and the team always bring that willingness to learn that makes their insights and analysis far more valuable than someone who is way overconfident in their abilities.
