Burned plenty of fees too, all for that promised TGE that never came. It’s Q4 2025, Bitcoin’s at new highs, perp DEXs are booming, and Reya’s still farming “points,” “tiers,” and “XP” with no clear goal in sight. The team keeps the community on a drip of vague updates and recycled campaigns, but zero transparency about what’s next. Feels like they’ve stopped building long time ago and started looping.

They usually pick projects with real products and strong teams, not random hype plays. What I respect most is how consistent they’ve been: years in the game, good timing, and a clear sense of what actually matters in the industry. If Dragonfly joins a round, it’s a good sign the team behind it knows what they’re doing.

But I also know that for many real believers in the community it turned out very differently, and most are still deep in the red. Frank is definitely a strong marketer, maybe even one of the best in Web3 when it comes to building attention and culture around projects. At the same time, he’s also one of the most controversial figures—constantly in the spotlight, with every move sparking both hype and criticism. So while I respect his ability to drive narratives and make people talk, I can’t ignore the fact that his holders paid the price for those experiments. For me this review is neutral: he’s talented and influential, but the outcomes are very poor.

In Web3, a lot of people disappear when it gets tough — but Oleg is the opposite. He’s there every day, helping others, sharing alpha, keeping the vibe strong. He has this rare mix of brains and heart. One moment he’s breaking down a tricky NFT meta with razor-sharp insight, the next he’s dropping a meme that has the whole Discord laughing. That balance is what makes communities actually feel alive, instead of just being chat rooms. What I respect most is that he doesn’t just talk — he shows up and delivers. From Memeland to Gigaverse to Abstract, I’ve seen him support people, give real leads, and put in work like it’s his own project. He’s consistent, dependable, and always brings positivity with him. For me, Oleg isn’t just “MemeLord” — he’s one of those people who makes you glad you stuck around in this space.

I held over 10 nodes in the network, watched them secure serious backing from tier-1 funds. But over time, the project’s direction changed not once, but two times, and each pivot felt more desperate than strategic. Initially, it was infrastructure/Web3 infra. Then they pivoted to “AI agents” and ran a CoinList sale claiming they’d be creating a platform for AI agents. After the sale? They pivoted again - into a “social AI creator platform” (really?) — with no real product to show. They issued a token at a peak market moment, didn’t secure proper listings on major exchanges, and ended up dumping it heavily — many went into the public at –65% from the sale price. What stings most is that the team seems to have walked away from accountability. They collected funds from a trusting community via CoinList, changed course multiple times, and left token holders in the lurch. To me, this reeks of a bait-and-switch approach. Team of scammers.

It looked like they were just checking boxes, not rewarding real effort or value. Right now, everything they’re doing smells like a pump-and-dump scheme. No real tech development, just hype cycles timed with token momentum. It’s clear the team’s only play is to line their own pockets, not build something sustainable. The community got strung along on promises, but the project’s foundation is weak, and the intention feels purely extractive.

You see the toys in major stores, you see the GIFs being used daily by people who don’t even know what Web3 is, and you realize — this is bigger than a collection. The comeback story under Luca Netz is also inspiring. Not many projects survive a rough start, but Pudgy Penguins turned it into fuel and built something much stronger. They’ve nailed the balance between rewarding their crypto-native community while also reaching mainstream audiences. For me, that’s the real win — Pudgy Penguins isn’t just about floor prices or hype cycles, it’s about building culture that lasts 🐧💙

That’s not just building, that’s reshaping the game. What I like most is that he didn’t stop there. Instead of sitting back, he went on to launch Lens Protocol and opened the door for a whole new wave of Web3 social. It feels like he’s always a step ahead, experimenting, trying, and pushing boundaries while still keeping things real and open for the community. For me, Stani is one of those rare founders who actually delivered on the crazy promises that so many people made in this space. He made decentralized lending real, and now he’s giving people ownership of their online identity. If that’s not what Web3 is about, I don’t know what is.

Prices, charts, new listings, and even verified links—all in one place without unnecessary clutter. I especially like how reliable it is: whether I’m tracking blue chips or exploring small-cap tokens, I can always count on CG to have the latest info. Their integration with GeckoTerminal for DEX data is also a huge plus, making it easy to follow on-chain activity. Simple, trustworthy, and always improving—hard to imagine navigating the market without it.

We’ve been side by side in countless testnets and early projects, and he consistently makes the process easier for everyone — breaking down complex setups into clear steps, sharing early signals, and keeping the group motivated when things get messy. What stands out is his integrity. Even when his perspective isn’t the most popular, it’s always reasoned, backed by data, and delivered with respect. That balance of logic and authenticity makes him a voice you naturally want to listen to. For me, he’s more than just another contributor — he’s the kind of steady presence that makes Web3 feel like a real team effort.

on bearner.eth · 1412· 1y ago17“Biggest Letdown of the Year”I was part of Eclipse from the early days, minting their first official NFT collection on Ethereum and even bridging it to their mainnet. Back then, the team promised fair rewards for early supporters, including the much-hyped “tap the bull” event that was supposed to distribute tokens widely. When TGE finally happened, most honest accounts got zero tokens, while the lucky few who did receive something ended up with just a couple of dollars’ worth. No rewards for the NFT collection, no meaningful acknowledgment for active users — just silence. It’s hard not to see this as the team keeping the majority of tokens for themselves. Instead of celebrating a strong launch, Eclipse managed to alienate its earliest community members and erase the trust they’d built. The mix of overpromising, poor communication, and complete disregard for contributors turned what could have been a milestone moment into a textbook example of how to burn goodwill in Web3.
