For a while it looked magnificent, delivering great returns and creating one of the most widely used stablecoins in the crypto world. But the reality was much darker: its algorithmic structure was always unstable, and despite repeated warnings from experts, Do Kwon chose arrogance over humility. What followed was catastrophic: billions wiped out in days, ordinary people devastated alongside gamblers, and the entire market dragged down by the implosion. Court documents now confirm what many suspected, that Terraform Labs and Do Kwon misled their community, faking stability while pushing a broken model until it inevitably collapsed.

on Do Kwon 🌕 · 850· 1y ago · negative18“Dead Project”RTFKT is one of those projects I had high hopes for, and looking back, it’s honestly one of the biggest letdowns in Web3. Backed by Nike, they had the money, the talent, and the spotlight to lead the entire NFT space. Instead, they raised millions and left us with abandoned roadmaps, underwhelming drops, and little real value delivered to the community.

on RTFKT · 844· 1y ago · negative18“Dead Chain”Scroll was one of the biggest letdowns in recent memory. The airdrop, which was supposed to reward early supporters, ended up being an extraction game built around overpriced badges and pointless campaigns. Most people who participated didn’t even get back a fraction of what they spent. What could’ve been a zkEVM leader turned into a ghost chain remembered only for greed and failure.

Instead of building real adoption or serious applications, it turned the cycle into a casino for gambling addicts. The whole industry shifted after its launch. What could’ve been a time for mass-use apps and progress became a frenzy of pump & dump schemes and fee extraction.

on Pump.fun · 847· 1y ago · negative18“New L1 Scammer”I’ve spent months inside Camp Network, grinding through their buggy portal, completing tasks, and encouraging my own community to take part. We stayed active even when the system constantly broke, earning “matches” exactly as they asked. And yet, when the airdrop checker went live, most of us received nothing. To make it worse, they slapped on a $10 KYC requirement just to check eligibility. What kind of scam play is that?

on Camp Network · 321· 1y ago · negative18“Good idea, failed result”Back in the day, Gala Games had all the hype as a Web3 gaming pioneer. They raised millions, built huge expectations, and for a minute, it seemed like they were going to deliver a new era of player-owned gaming. Their flagship game, Town Star, even managed to capture a lot of people's attention, and I've seen firsthand how it gave some investors a taste of financial freedom. But let's be real—the dream has pretty much fallen apart. The company has become known for overpromising and under-delivering. Instead of creating great games, it feels like they've focused on pushing their community to buy more and more assets, with no real development to back it up. We’ve seen the value of NFTs that were once worth a fortune plummet into worthlessness.

After the previous hack, instead of giving users the same tokens back, USDT was credited to their accounts. Many coins had risen more than 50% after the hack, but instead, the payout was made according to their old values.

on Jake Winston · 1096· 1y ago · negative18“Serial Scammer”She uses her femininity to scam naive people. First, she gained followers by posting sexy photos, and then she started promoting worthless meme coins to that audience. She’s basically a shitcoin factory, shilling a new coin every day and immediately dumping it on her followers.

on Sibel · 666· 1y ago · negative18“Good idea, failed TGE”I actually liked Towns a lot when it first came out. The Discord-style setup, the way it brought communities together, and the fact that they kept improving the tool step by step made it feel like something worth being part of. For a while, I was using it daily. But everything went downhill with the airdrop and their token launch. What could have been a great opportunity to strengthen the community turned into one of the most unfair and disappointing TGEs I’ve seen. They managed to wipe out most wallets, quietly kept a huge portion for themselves, and left real users with scraps. Rewards were cut to almost nothing, and the whole thing felt like it was built to favor metrics and influencers rather than the people who actually supported the project early on.
