From 80 activities · Apr 2026Michael Saylor is the most vocal and committed Bitcoin maximalist in the corporate world, having transformed MicroStrategy into one of the largest institutional holders of BTC through relentless accumulation across market cycles. His unwavering conviction—buying consistently through bear markets and volatility—has made him a polarizing figure: celebrated by many as a visionary who legitimized Bitcoin adoption and inspired institutional interest, but criticized by others for concentrating significant supply (~3%) through leveraged strategies and creating concentration risk that could destabilize the market. Whether viewed as a Bitcoin pioneer or a dangerous bet, his influence on crypto adoption and corporate treasury strategy is undeniable.

His rock-solid conviction and sharp insights into how Bitcoin can transform finance are nothing short of inspiring. With his MIT aerospace engineering roots and bold moves at MicroStrategy, he’s not just talking about Bitcoin—he’s showing how companies can embrace it as a strategic asset. I’m blown away by how he breaks it down, whether he’s speaking to corporate bigwigs or regular folks just dipping their toes into crypto. Sure, his all-in approach raises some eyebrows about the risks, but you can’t deny the guy’s dedication. Saylor’s influence has put Bitcoin on the map for institutional adoption, and I believe his vision is genuinely changing the game for money’s future.

Mitya Kulibaba · 1412· 1y ago12“Daddy Saylor: The Face of Institutional BTC Conviction.”Michael Saylor is pretty much the face of institutional Bitcoin conviction. Back in the 2022–2023 bear, people clowned him, called the MicroStrategy buys reckless, said he’d get liquidated. Fast forward, and he’s the one who stuck to the thesis while the rest fumbled. Now those same buys look genius. Whether you're a maxi or not, it's hard to deny: Saylor played the long game, and it's starting to pay off loud.

I knew Michael Saylor on X. where he got many of us acquianted to btc. He has become a pivotal figure for Bitcoin, not just through his vocal advocacy but through his significant financial commitments. For many, the name Michael Saylor is now synonymous with Bitcoin itself. Through his leadership at MicroStrategy, one of the largest corporate holders of BTC globally, he has demonstrated unwavering conviction. He doesn't just talk the talk; he backs his beliefs with billions of dollars of his company's capital, setting a powerful precedent for corporate investment in digital assets. This bold strategy has made him an exceptional leader and a role model for many in the Web3 space, including me. We need more pioneers like him to champion the future of decentralized finance.

Up to this point, I haven’t engaged with him in any community chats, discussions, or collaborative environments. From a public standpoint, he appears to maintain a strong and consistent presence in the industry. However, since my perspective is based solely on external observation rather than firsthand experience, I prefer to keep this assessment neutral for now. I’ll continue to follow his activity and contributions over time. If there is meaningful direct interaction in the future, I would be open to updating this review with a more informed perspective.

whiteee · 1312· 1y ago10“The only one who believed when no one else did”Michael Saylor’s story is one of conviction and bold vision. When the U.S. government dismissed Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme and a fraud, he bet big. In 2020, he made his first $250 million purchase and then built a leveraged portfolio designed to maximize Bitcoin exposure. Through zero-coupon convertible notes, equity offerings, and secured loans, Saylor turned MicroStrategy—now Strategy—into the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, with roughly 581,000 BTC worth over $63 billion, far exceeding its annual $463 million software revenue. In Q1 2025 alone, the company issued $7.7 billion in new shares to buy 22,048 BTC at around $87,000 each, and later raised $2 billion in zero-coupon convertible debt to acquire even more. Altogether, over $42 billion has been deployed to accumulate nearly 597,000 BTC in just over four years. This aggressive, high-conviction strategy has made Strategy’s stock outperform Bitcoin itself—a case study in financial courage that will be remembered in market history
