Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos Network, a reputation and accountability platform built on-chain to combat sybils, scammers, and bad actors in crypto. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early hire at Message.io (YC W16), he brings deep expertise in product, security, identity verification, and fraud prevention. Known for hands-on community engagement, transparent communication, and uncompromising commitment to building trust through economic incentives and measurable reputation—he actively vouches for credible users, slashes bad actors with evidence, and iterates on Ethos mechanics based on real user behavior. Consistently praised for his work ethic, accessibility despite being CEO, and vision of making crypto more human-centered and trustworthy.

“Sloppy reviews and comments”gm brother, you have been called out by multiple community members for copy and pasting reviews, please stop doing this, or it will result in a slash. thankson irekit.eth · 1314· 1y ago · negative69
“Brief but pleasant interactions so far”Shas seems to have a strong history - invited by Tim (does it get better than that?) - editor in chief @ the block (one of my favorites) have been exchanging dms a bit on Ethos and had pleasant interactions so far, definitely undervalued on Ethos as an actual user so giving a boost, will report back when I get to know them a bit better 🫡on XBT002 · 1378· 1y ago69
“Trying to avoid accountability by inviting himself and dodging past reviews”Yawara reviewed him negatively so he just disconnected Twitter and invited himself and reconnected While Ethos doesn't properly show this in the front end now, we will one day - we have all the data to stitch this together. Until then I will write negative reviews for him so long as he does thison BabaKarl · 1153· 1y ago · negative69

“Outstanding member of our community, and now team”mLo (like jLo) has been an AMAZING early supporter to ethos he shows up every day, asks questions, interacts, writes threads, participates in the AMA.. he does it all. We have some history going back before Ethos days and he's always been a trustworthy in my books. He also has been so helpful in making introductions to different groups, onboarding ethos, and helping others in the community. After bringing him on the team, we've benefitted greatly from all his hard work with being "The Ethos Guy"on MLO · 2065· 19d ago86
