Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos, an on-chain reputation protocol addressing a critical gap in Web3 trust and credibility. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early investor at 0x5f Capital, he brings deep expertise in fraud prevention, identity verification, and high-growth product scaling. Known for relentless focus on product quality, transparency, and community engagement, Serpin actively hosts verification sessions, vibe coding streams, and spaces while maintaining hands-on involvement in slashing bad actors and building systems that reward genuine contribution over manipulation. The community consistently describes him as a visionary builder who prioritizes doing things the right way over chasing hype, with particular respect for his frank communication, willingness to take feedback, and unwavering commitment to making Web3 more credible and human-centered.

“Built a great platform”Really enjoying Ethos, it's always a great tool for projects to look at and see if the person they may be looking to work with is reputable or not. Loving EthosJack · 1412· 1y ago32
“Serp the Builder”Been a blast to see his efforts pay off building throughout the slow periods. Always seems to be working and by all accounts a pretty good dude, hoping to continue to watch him succeedTheDudeOnX · 1413· 1y ago32
“OG & Top Contributor”Can't say enough good things about this guy. Hardworking SOB. Met in the Proof days and could always tell he was one of integrity. You can see this with his contributions to the industry and in Ethos' mission.ct613 · 1343· 1y ago32

“Leader and genuine!”0x5f leads with honesty, empathy, and a strong sense of purpose. They genuinely care about the people around them, always taking the time to listen, support, and uplift others. Their ability to inspire and motivate comes not from authority alone, but from the trust and respect they naturally earn through their actions.LazySith · 1407· 1y ago32
“ETHOS co founder”Been following his journey in making the crypto space a better place, cleaning this space, one review at a timeIamdiarrhoea 🔶🐼 · 1916· 1y ago32

“Ethos sensei”Founder of Ethos, the herald of reputation. Dedicated builder and the reason why we're all here :) Serpin made navigating CT a lot easier, especially for newbies in the space. The chrome extension is pretty useful as you can quickly glance at someone's reputation via the twitter overlay. There are many jokes about the "web3 attention span" and forgetting how often someone scammed others in the past - ethos is a great remedy for the web3 attention as you can quickly get a good picture through someone's past reviews and you instantly know whether you should avoid them or not. A good starter pack for newbies in crypto: Ethos + PocketUniverse. Those two extensions are basically a staple for newcomers to avoid getting scammed.Username McUserface ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°) · 1459· 8mo ago40
“"Ethos Papa"”Serpin is one of the first in Web3 who actually pushed credibility from an abstract idea into something people can use.Ethos is an early attempt to make trust measurable through real rreviews, vouches, and consequences, not just narratives. He is clearly the core driver behind the project -- shaping the idea, guiding irection, and staying hands-on with product and communtiy. It's still evolving but the intent and effort feel real, and the direction is one the space needs. Props for pushing this forwardalmatruust · 1409· 10mo ago40
“Good leader”True leader and as I can see at discord, very nice person and worth to listen and follow, because he has good scope of space. Looking for more from him.Cryp70n1t3 | onchain forensics · 1447· 10mo ago40
