Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos Network, a reputation and accountability platform built on-chain to combat sybils, scammers, and bad actors in crypto. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early hire at Message.io (YC W16), he brings deep expertise in product, security, identity verification, and fraud prevention. Known for hands-on community engagement, transparent communication, and uncompromising commitment to building trust through economic incentives and measurable reputation—he actively vouches for credible users, slashes bad actors with evidence, and iterates on Ethos mechanics based on real user behavior. Consistently praised for his work ethic, accessibility despite being CEO, and vision of making crypto more human-centered and trustworthy.

“Avoid at all costs”Came into a private chat we were in and shilled stars arena HARD during the FT days never disclosed he was actually a part of the team https://www.chaincatcher.com/en/article/2104813 the rest is history.on kook · 389· 1y ago · negative144
“Willis is an awesome dude who's account got compromised”We've shared a few groups together over the years, but I didn't really get to know Willis until we launched Ethos. I joined one of his AMAs once in the Metablazers chat (a lovely community I wasn't a part of) and it was great to get introduced and get to know him a bit as he joined Ethos. His account on Ethos got compromised and it reset most of his score, unfortunately, so leaving a review in hopes we can get his score back.on WillisP90, MBA · 1463· 8mo ago48

“Promoting $SPC without disclosing that he was paid to do so”Was a part of a giant gotcha for promoting space along with a bunch of other paid partners, but he didn't disclose that it was paid. This type of inorganic shilling of products when you are getting paid without disclosing it is a huge knock against your credibility imo. https://i.imgur.com/cko1tlD.jpegon Kevihaiceth 💹🧲 · 1194· 6mo ago · negative291
“Your group needs to back off on the Ethos farming”Knowingly spoofing your reputation is EV- for everyone. You've been asking people for triangle review you, and facilitate people doing that in your group. "The first rule of Ethos farmers - do not mention the Ethos farming group" is a pretty damning to talk about your own group.on Arhont · 1139· 1y ago · negative210
