AFAIK, all protocol revenue is used for token buybacks, resulting in 18.35% of the supply being burned. At $3M FDV, PONS is trading at roughly 0.17x buybacks annualized. > As a comparison, $PUMP trades at roughly 9.7x buybacks annualized ($1.4B FDV / $142.2M buybacks). > At current prices, protocol revenue would need to fall *98%* for PONS to just match PUMP's price-buyback ratio. Furthermore, that would equate to ~$1K in daily protocol revenue, which seems easily attainable given that PONS is currently operating at 47.5x that ($47,500). > TL;DR: PONS is probably the cheapest crypto token out there.

We talked for hours over voice and tg, sharing ideas and talking about how Ethos might work one day. He's been an incredible contributor and believer early on, and I've always loved that I've been able to bounce ideas off him. He's super sharp and honestly we should stay more connected than we are right now!

Here's the info from the negative review (link to archived review https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/136336/fake-reviews-for-people-he-doesnt-know-i-will-be-promoting-a-slash-if-you-dont~) > You wrote this for colorblock, which I am 1000% sure is not true, you did not work with colorblock and she does not do marketing. > "I remember when Colorblock first helped us navigate a tricky campaign. Their knack for "understanding the assignment" was immediately clear. Add to that their willingness to "go the extra mile" on every project, and you've got a recipe for pure, unadulterated collaboration. They're not just marketers; they're partners in the truest sense." > https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/126588/the-swiss-army-knife-of-marketing

We've worked together on the same product years ago and sat next to each other in an office. I won't say too much about his technical ability so that no one tries to pry him away from us Excited to bring him on to the Ethos team full time :)

on ArtificialRobot · 1789· 1y ago173“Do not forget that Cointelegraph had negligent reporting that lead to ~$100m in liquidations”I lost a lot of respect for Cointelegraph when they chose to optimize for speed over accuracy in reporting. Back in October 2023, as many of us goldfish have already forgotten, they tweeted that SEC had approved blackrock's btc ETF. It was a fake screenshot that they didn't verify. BTC went up ~5% until Blackrock/Bloomberg said it was fake, which triggered about $100m in liquidations (src https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2023/10/16/bitcoin-momentarily-hits-30k-on-false-spot-etf-approval-report-leads-to-100m-liquidations) They owned up to it, did an investigation, shared all of the details, and promised it would never happen again (src: https://cointelegraph.com/news/clarification-sharing-false-spot-bitcoin-etf-news). This isn't a trend with them, but this type of reporting put a scar on Cointelegraph that shouldn't be ignored imo; seeing them at 100% positive reviews in the present feels like a bit of a mistruth so I felt obligated to review this and ensure everyone always has context moving forward. When you carry the burden of reporting the news, you need to take the utmost care in doing so and they failed and lost a lot of trust in the space along the way.

on Cointelegraph · 1759· 1y ago · negative172“I think Tim Ferris is a reputable person that got dragged into the wrong stuff in Web3”Tim had an NFT project called CockPunch. He went on a grandstand at the end of the last NFT cycle and talked about it everywhere - said things like it was something he thought about the MOST in his life, that he's been super excited to launch it-- he made it seem like it was something he authentically cared about. He was very clear not to let people speculate on it though and basically said "buy it as a ticket to an event, not an NFT to flip" Personally I find this part irresponsible; why mint it as an NFT? there was absolutely no reason. He could have just sold the digital art and the access to the "book" he wrote with it. Instead he knew what he was getting into with people speculating on it. The art was terrible, he delivered a podcast, and basically bailed. He called his shot but that doesn't mean that he should have done it.

I had never really connected with him before, only seeing him in passing with his enthusiasm for meebits. The guy is obviously very Ethos aligned in how he talks and thinks, focused on ethics over faking things. Much respect for that.
