He's been committed to that, and built a successful business off the top of it. However, Luca does not care about crypto anymore. Launching $PENGU was a way for the team to make more money- it lacks any sort of insight or direction, a memecoin that no one is going to buy because they saw a GIF on Instagram. Abstract was a flop, chasing a meta that he felt like was worth chasing. They had some interesting ideas and clear vision for why they were different, but it felt like Luca honestly never cared about abstract itself and never put his best foot forward with it. So now what? We have multiple NFT assets in Pudgies, lil pudgies, rods.. pengu... how do they benefit from the success of Pudgy Penguin? They don't really, and I'd argue that crypto is just a side car for Luca to ride when he'd like to make a bit of money. I'm sure he lost his ass building Abstract, but I don't believe he ever cared about abstract to begin with.
