Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos, an on-chain reputation protocol addressing a critical gap in Web3 trust and credibility. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early investor at 0x5f Capital, he brings deep expertise in fraud prevention, identity verification, and high-growth product scaling. Known for relentless focus on product quality, transparency, and community engagement, Serpin actively hosts verification sessions, vibe coding streams, and spaces while maintaining hands-on involvement in slashing bad actors and building systems that reward genuine contribution over manipulation. The community consistently describes him as a visionary builder who prioritizes doing things the right way over chasing hype, with particular respect for his frank communication, willingness to take feedback, and unwavering commitment to making Web3 more credible and human-centered.

“As a potential investor in one of his products, I'd be super careful with what he says”3700 has launched MANY projects that made bold promises that I felt were never really followed thru. This review should be understood from the lens of "Someone who believes he promised too much, too many times, and never really delivered" Many may argue he's just ruthlessly trying to find product market fit, but I think people should be more aware than not of his past to understand what his future might hold My first encounter with him was shilling $GM in the punks chat.. a botched presale for a memecoin on their BTC protocol. Not only was it a terrible trading experience, but basically everyone lost money on it. Then he created New Bitcoin City on BVM.. a product that worked well enough as a friend.tech clone, but promised many big things and delivered very few. This was the first pivot away form $Gm and what he was suggesting the future of Trustless Computer was going to be Now 18 months later he's onto some other stuff on top of BVM.. including a new project called CryptoEternalAI. Every time I read his tweets I cringe a bit because it just feels like the same regurgitated high level technical speak combined with suggestion that what he's working on is going to change the world. I get it, but it's one too many times for me personally. At the very least, the guy knows how to ship. I just think that his past of pivoting often and quickly while overpromising is one that people should be aware of.on 3700 · 1291· 1y ago · negative54
