“Disappointing OTC experience”I had followed Anonymoux previously in the NFT era. He was a well known trader of NFTs and did well for himself. He was very high profile, talked about his trades and conviction a lot. During the friend.tech era, he was very big on farming $FRIEND. I was too. We bought each others keys. We got to know each other through mutual acquaintances. He was looking to exit a position on $FRIEND before the token launched. I agreed to buy over 6 figs of his $FRIEND at $1 OTC before the launch. Instead of using collateral, I paid him outright, but we doxxed and signed a legal agreement saying he must pay me. I sent him $$ up front in USDC, and he would pay me in $FRIEND later. I had publicly stated on my X that I had bought $FRIEND at $1 OTC shortly after the transaction. After purchasing this, Anonymoux was extremely friendly towards me - at NFT NYC in 2024 he invited me to an amazing dinner with his friends and family. He was super gracious. I enjoyed my time and met a bunch of great people. When $FRIEND finally launched, the price at launch was well over $1. Anonymoux immediately shifted his tone and started to get aggressive with the contract. At this point he claimed that I had breached the contract by publicly stating that I bought it (he claimed that I broke an NDA in the contract and thus the deal was null and void). He was not interested in sending me the $FRIEND and wanted to retain his earnings. We were trending towards settling this dispute in court when he finally just said, okay whatever I'll sell it to you, a couple days after launch. **He did complete the deal** but I felt like it was so reluctantly, that I would never consider working with him again. It was not a fun experience, and I did not understand the logic behind going against a deal other than purely for greed's sake. Since then he's launched a project that most people would consider "rugged" and hasn't posted on X in over a year and a half. I would not recommend doing business with Anonymoux.on Anonymoux · 1337· 1y ago · negative167
