“Dangerous to BTC and Crypto”Everyone is so bullish on Saylor because of what they think he does for you - buy your bags. News flash, having a single person or entity own a significant chunk of bitcoin (like ~3% right now) is not a net positive for BTC or Crypto. It may create temporary relief with buy pressure, but Saylor is now showing what that responsibility comes with.. Saylor has created multiple financial instruments to support his BTC buys, including the most recent $STRC. If you haven't researched $STRC, it's effectively a stable coin pegged to $100 offering yield. It is designed to help support the price of btc and enable him to buy more BTC. It's supported by adjustable yield, to be paid out via reserves. Yes, that's right, he's paying APY out of his pocket. The idea is the APY keeps the price of $STRC at $100. This setup is not that different from Luna/UST - except that was algorithmic. There are scenarios where BTC crash -> $STRC depegs -> systematic type reset happens in the space. It's unlikely that Saylor or $MSTR are going to get "liquidated" in any capacity, but please understand that when a single person owns a large portion of a major token, there is a significant amount of individual risk put on that token. If it comes out that Saylor has been doing something illegal, if the board wakes up an decides to kick him, if Saylor dies and everyone handling MSTR after decides to liquidate the holdings... you're looking at a massive risk to the ecosystem. Everyone loves the guy who buys their bags, even as recently as the 2024 DATs. Usually that guy ends up being the bad guy, and I believe Saylor will be that and cause a significant crash to crypto in the next couple of years. Never forget that everyone is a seller someday...on Michael Saylor · 2042· 7mo ago · negative328
