From 713 activities · Mar 2026Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos Network, a platform building on-chain reputation and trust systems for Web3. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early hire at Message.io (YC W16), he brings deep expertise in product, security, identity verification, and fraud prevention. Known for hands-on community engagement, transparent leadership, and relentless focus on detecting Sybil actors and bad actors through slashing and verification mechanisms, Serpin is widely recognized as a builder committed to doing things the right way rather than chasing hype—consistently shipping features, hosting vibe coding sessions and spaces, and staying actively involved in Discord and community feedback loops.

“Bold but Grounded. The Real Deal.”Love the vision for Ethos. I remember Serp sharing an initial Ethos prototype before it went live. It clicked right away. It's been a joy to watch (and participate in) the journey so far to build transparency, trust, and reputation verification. It's a challenging space to build, Serp makes it look easy.

Reputation, for me, is the most important thing a person, any web2 business, and of course any web3 project or influencer can have. Serpin is one of the most responsive CEOs I’ve ever seen in all my years in web3. On my very first request he agreed to do an AMA in my Telegram channel, one of the first big-name CEOs to actually show up in TG and go live with the audience. I can’t wait for our upcoming podcast, I think it’s going to be exciting for everyone. His activity blows my mind - it feels like he’s always online, streaming almost every day. And most importantly, the speed at which the team reacts to suggestions and ships them into the product. I suggested adding a notification about an active EIP vote, and he literally pushed it live on the site within 30 minutes. Incredible pace! I’m proud to be an ambassador for such an important project in web3. PS I don’t know why my review got such a low AI score. I wrote it myself and from the heart.

Walshy.eth · 1378· 1y ago39“Insightful Voice in Web3”Serpin Taxt stands out for sharing thoughtful takes on market trends while actively supporting builders and community members early. His posts feel practical and grounded, mixing honest analysis with genuine encouragement for projects and contributors. Overall, it comes across as a credible, builder-minded presence focused on long term value in Web3 rather than short term hype.
