Currently there are two main popular scaling solutions. ZK and Optimism. Optimism works on the principle of optimism that is, all transactions are accurate. But has a delay period for withdrawals so anyone can dispute if any issues arise. Compared to ZK, Optimism has much wider adoption. RIght now they are even bidding to get Ronin onboard for example. So overall, a trusted L2 and scaling solution.

But right now it doesn't have much liquidity or hype. Even the first official nft mints that happened on it didn't even trade at floor prices. So right now, it's just another blockchain. If it gets some popular dapps that are worthy of spending time and resources on, we can re-assess its review.

There you could open offer emails, reply them or if someone messages you, you got paid some dollars but in BTC. I made 40-50 dollars there. Which you could withdraw to coinbase and then your local currency. And then that made me explore the realms of crypto. Later that company was acquired by Coinbase and Balaji became Coinbase's CTO. And now, we can all see how widespread earnings in crypto are. Be it via defi, airdrop farming or play to earn games. Just an example of how Balaji was ahead of his time, a true visionary. Balaji is very much an all rounder. Investor, engineer, founder, futurist thinker, author, historian, economist and perhaps a dozen more things where he is great at. Right now he is focused on building out his network school, which is basically implementation of his ideas from his own book Network state. Not surprisingly, network State was a best selling book!!

Even the validator-proposer conflict resolution is speedy and takes an hour instead of days compared to other ETH based chains. All in all, a chain worth looking into as it is still in early phase.

It is also consistently the top dapp on Abstract even though it is relatively a new game. Game requires a battle pass to play but it is cheap. And then their event and battle pass challenges in game that you can complete to get in game rewards. Overall, a super fun game which you can play again and again and yet not get bored. Game is still early, so I am sure over time it will have lot more diverse content.
