An Axie OG and Web3 gaming enthusiast known for providing alpha and insightful information on new games, particularly within the Ronin ecosystem. Active across Kong and MoTZ communities, they're recognized as warm, reliable, and trustworthy—someone who helps others with advice and consistently climbs leaderboards in competitive Web3 games.

“Started on a good foot, ended up falling flat on our heads”Pirate Nations was one of the most talked about web3 gaming projects since their crazy raise ($24M+)/ They had an evolving game which people participated in for many seasons and pvp events. Players even locked their earned tokens and Founder Pirates because they trusted Pirate Nations will fulfill all its promises. And then suddenly things started falling apart. Devs started blaming players for p2e failing, not acknowledging that maybe their own game was not as good as they have been promoting. Full of bugs, laggy, repetitive content. They kept baiting people to lock in their tokens and pirates for an ecosystem token. And probably provided a way for investors to dump that way. And now we come to know there is no such ecosystem token possible. We are being asked to burn our founder pirates which at the top were selling for thousands of dollars for now mere $50 worth of tokens. Game has been decommissioned and with it all our progress and items. And even for that they provided a tiny allocation of tokens. All the boasting that fully onchain games live forever was an obvious lie. One has to wonder why make a fully onchain game (with worse UX) when its fate is no better than a normal web3 game. The least they could do was provide proper compensation to their players and especially pirate holders. But instead they decided to pay them a petty allocation to get rid of their players completely. So no one call them a rug. Wouldn't participate in any new projects from Pirate nations now.on Pirate Nation · 1570· 1y ago · negative10
“Guy who laid the foundation of 24 billion dollar industry AKA P2E/Web3 Gaming”Jihoz lovingly known as Papa Jihoz in Ronin community. And rightly so. He along with other Axie co-founders laid the foundation of one of the most innovative sub-sectors in gaming and web3. P2E. Play to earn. Currently valued at $24 billion, this industry is expected to reach valuation of $131.6 billion by end of 2034. I know Jihoz from the early crypto kitty days, where he showed his incredible skills in finding the rarest crypto kitties and making a bank. Shortly after that he joined Axie Infinity first as a normal member and then becoming the co-founder of Axie. And from there he hasn't stopped. In those early days, web3 gaming wasn't a thing and had very few enthusiasts. But he believed in Axie's potential to become a giant and that is what happened in early 2021. Millions of players became part of Axie and earned life changing money. Often times without having invested nothing. After the success of Axie, Jihoz and other Axie co-founders built Ronin network which was basically a steam for web3 gaming. And now Ronin has several high quality games along with Axie and is growing rapidly. Jihoz is still active as before. He regularly interacts with community members, helps grow the ronin network and provides meaningful insights in web3 gaming trends. Also he plays these games himself and sometimes even does content creation. Apart from web3 gaming, he is also very active in Defi space and is often seen providing alpha before others. And can also be seen providing insights into American and global economy, philosophy, wellness etc. All in all Jihoz is a a multi talented genius with a strong moral compass. We definitely need more people like him in our space.on Jihoz.ron · 1731· 1y ago10
