“Fraudulent denial of airdrop”It is not about the money, it is about principle. Never thought I'd have to write a negative review because of airdrop but here I am. BOB team is marking wallets ineligible for airdrops. No big deal right. Every project has some non-eligible users. But here is the real deal. They are not just marking low activity accounts which could be thought of as bot accounts, but literal top 10 and top 100 accounts. Not only that, they are even marking accounts ineligible which they themselves made eligible for their community sale. When asked about it in discord, they'd first give vague response like low activity, not citing how much rank or activity was required in the first place. And when you show them proof of activity like amount of points collected or leaderboard ranks, then they simply say user wallet was non-compliant for AML laws. Now think about it for a minute. They are happy to make wallets eligible bridging in money, staking, for their community sales etc; but then when it comes to giving them airdrop, those same very wallets become "dirty"? Make it make sense. Heck they didn't even release eligibility checker before airdrop which is opposite the practice in web3. On top of that they are kicking users out of discord for voicing their opinions. I am not sure if this is not a case of clear cut fraud, then what is. Very likely the airdrop allocation has been pocketed by the team, friends and family etc. While the project is being listed on coinbase and binance, I do wonder if a project which stands on the foundation of distrust, greed and fraud can really succeed for a long time.on BOB · 1517· 11mo ago · negative7
