“Shady but unavoidable”Mexc exchange has had history of shady dealings like denying withdrawals, freezing funds etc. But it is also an exchange which is easier to access for both new teams and users without too many barriers. Many token pairs first launch on mexc and then anywhere else. So ya, ideally as a user there is too much risk to use this exchange, but it is also unavoidable in many cases.

But sometimes you also see genuine people getting crowdfunding because of the same easy token launch. So all in all a tool for the web3 degens to change their lives. For better or worse.

A NFT collector's journey is incomplete without the use of Opensea. What started as a marketplace for eth nfts has now expanded to around 24 chains. In the recent times, they also added support for token swaps, perps, launching nfts directly on their marketplace for more exposure etc. Overall a web3 product which is very useful.

A good chunk is simply because user had approved their crypto to be spent on dapps like exchanges or other projects. And then these projects can use your unspent approval to withdraw that amount without your signature. This is where tools like revoke cash come in. They can show all your wallet approvals filtered by amount, risk, date, token type etc and so you can revoke these approvals before a shady project decided to drain your wallet.

“Nice experiment but that failed miserably”FriendTech was an interesting early socialfi experiment. Before it there were others like Steemit and Bitclout, but none achieved the mindshare and TVL as big as friend tech. Not sure what exactly went wrong, but one day we wake up and the experiment is closed. Good thing is that they at least setup a way to withdraw our funds via contract. And off course that it inspired the creation of Ethos network to some extent.
