They built SP1, a zkVM where you can write ZK programs in Rust (instead of wrestling with weird circuit languages). They’ve launched their SP1 testnet (called SP1 testnet / “Level 1: Crisis of Trust”) and raised $55 million in funding—big names like Paradigm, Robot Ventures, Bankless Ventures are backing them. They also put in place a decentralized proving network (Succinct Prover Network) that lets many “provers” compete/participate to generate zk proofs in a scalable, They're collaborating with other big players (Arbitrum, OP Stack, AltLayer, etc.) to integrate ZK proofs, reduce costs, and speed up finality. Overall, this feels like one of those infrastructure projects that might not always be flashy, but might quietly become super important in making blockchain tech scale, secure, and more usable.
