“Visionary Tech, Questionable Execution”There's no denying Toly is a brilliant builder—Solana's speed and scalability are impressive. But with that ambition comes real issues: frequent network outages, a history of centralization concerns, and an ecosystem that sometimes prioritizes hype over stability.

“Relentless Builder Who Keeps Solana Honest”Anatoly Yakovenko known simply as Toly blogs in code and conversation. He welcomes wild engineering challenges, pushing Solana toward bigger, faster ideas like meta-blockchains that merge data across chains and an L1 capable of standing alone without relying on Layer-2s . He doesn’t sugarcoat the hype either ,for him, memecoins and NFTs are “digital slop” ,useful for stress-testing but not something to build legacies on .

“Visionary Behind Solana”Toly truly deserves all the recognition he’s receiving now. I still remember when many people thought Solana was finished after the FTX collapse, even I had my doubts. But Toly kept building, and today Solana has risen back as one of the strongest ecosystems in crypto. What I admire most is that he doesn’t just talk about technology—he actually delivers real results. From Proof of History to Solana’s mobile-first vision with the Saga phone, he has repeatedly proven himself as both a true builder and a technical visionary. For me, Toly isn’t just the co-founder of Solana Labs—he’s someone who has genuinely changed the game. Solana’s speed, throughput, and ecosystem growth wouldn’t exist without his persistence. Whether you like or dislike Solana, you can’t deny the massive impact he’s had on blockchain infrastructure. Following him has given me both new perspective and conviction, and I deeply respect his vision for building the future of crypto.
