“Meme coin, CTO, DYOR and buy at your own risk”The Ski Mask Dog ($SKI) is a meme coin on the Base chain, a project that blends community-driven crypto culture, viral memes, and decentralized governance into a bold, quirky ecosystem. As someone who has actually bought SKI tokens, it’s been quite a ride—especially now that the whole market is down, and my portfolio is looking redder than a Solana outage alert. Still, that’s part of the fun in the chaotic meme coin jungle. @Ski_CTO’s timeline feels like a mix of crypto propaganda, slang, and sarcasm, designed less to inform traditional investors and more to build a movement. Their posts constantly hype up the SKI gang ethos—a mix of rebellion, humor, and self-deprecation that fits perfectly with the meme culture thriving on X. There are no corporate press releases or polished infographics; instead, think handmade memes, puns, dog photos in ski masks, and posts that make you laugh even while you’re checking your unrealized losses. The Ski Mask Dog project isn’t trying to reinvent DeFi or solve blockchain scalability—it embraces the fun side of crypto. Rooted in community takeover values, the project started when its original developer stepped back, leaving it to the community to manage—a fairly rare, almost anarchic approach. The community runs various creative groups such as ski_memes, ski_dao, and ski_creatives, where members collaborate on memes, marketing, and content creation. The official Telegram and X pages work as digital dog parks where everyone jokes, vents, and dreams about the next big pump. Beyond memes, SKI also pushes creative engagement, hosting meme competitions, community tasks, and even offering merch rewards to active participants. It has grown into a genuine grassroots phenomenon, expanding across Telegram and X with local chapters popping up worldwide. My Experience as a Holder Like many others, I jumped in during the hype. The marketing was hilarious, the memes were fire, and the community vibe was addictive. But as the market cooled down and most altcoins bled, SKI’s price followed the trend—a classic meme coin experience. My small bag is currently deep in the red, but oddly, i am still holding, hoping for it the recover and go beyond ATH. Ski_CTO isn’t your typical professional crypto account—it’s raw, loud, and self-aware. The updates are chaotic but entertaining, the memes are relentless, and the movement feels like a digital protest against boring finance. Sure, I’m at a loss right now, but holding $SKI feels like being part of an inside joke that only true degens get. The Base chain “ski gang” might not take itself seriously, but that’s exactly why it works. In a sea of overpromised utility coins, Ski Mask Dog stands out by promising nothing but vibes—and delivering exactly that.on Ski Mask Dog · 1229· 12mo ago7

“super source of information about crypto and financial markets”Watcher.Guru on X is kinda like one of the fastest accounts if you wanna know what’s happening with crypto and finance stuff, right when it happens. They post headlines super quick, sometimes even before proper news articles, which is cool if you’re just trying to see what’s up with Bitcoin or big hacks (and there’s a lot of those lol). They've got millions of followers (think it's over 3 million now, not totally sure). The posts themselves are mostly just straight news — no annoying hype or “to the moon” spam. But yeah, you gotta know, sometimes news comes so fast it’s barely more than a tweet, so if you want details you gotta wait for a full article or go check other places too. But it’s not all smooth sailing. Earlier this year their account actually got hacked and started spreading fake news about Ripple and SWIFT, making people think something HUGE was happening in crypto. Was actually wild, and because they use bots to auto-post to other social channels, that fake story spread way faster than anyone could delete it. The team got on it quick, deleted the bad stuff, and changed passwords and stuff, but it made a lot of people nervous how easy it was to get into their account, even with 2FA on. The account’s back to normal now, but just goes to show, stuff can get out of hand really fast in crypto. Still, for loads of people, Watcher.Guru’s pretty much a must-follow, especially if you want unbiased, not-too-flashy updates and you don’t like shilly tweets. Just keep your eyes open for fake news and double-check if things sound too crazy to be true. So yeah, solid source for quick news, but nobody’s perfect — even big accounts like this can get hacked or tricked sometimeson Watcher.Guru · 1653· 1y ago7
