“Building a privacy infrastructure layer”With the recent ZEC boom, we have seen a strong privacy trend in crypto & Arcium perfectly fits this meta. It is a decentralized confidential computing network that uses MPC (multi-party computation, where several nodes compute together without any one of them seeing the full private data) through multi-party execution environments (MXEs). How it works in simple words: an app is built on top of Solana, but runs parts of its logic using encrypted data, so user balances, orders, strategies, AI data, etc aren't fully public (somewhat similar to ZEC). I like the idea behind the project. Let's see how it goes!

“Abstract OG & a great friend”I remember seeing Cocojambo in various CIS TG communities on Abstract since the very first day of the mainnet launch. I immediately liked his attitude toward others & his willingness to help when needed. As time passed, he stayed with Abstract & remained active in the space every day. “Another extractor”Been calling out Trump for launching memecoins & now is doing... the same thing with the $Laptop launch. I urge you to stay away from it! Logic is simple: if we all stop buying crap like this, people will see how pathetic & useless these tokens are. Seeing shit like this sub $1M mcap would be funny. And nobody really needs them.

“One of the best L2s”We have a lot of Ethereum L2s, but Base stands out as one of the best. The main reason is that it is backed by one of the biggest & most trusted exchanges - Coinbase. But that’s not the only one. Good technical architecture, low fees, a thriving ecosystem, DeFi, memes - all of that lives on Base & keeps growing over time. Chain also offers bonuses & support for builders, which accelerates its own growth. I love using Base & apps built on it!

“Marking the end of useless L2s”Sophon spent more than a year building an L2 ZK blockchain focused on entertainment, gaming & consumer crypto, but unfortunately failed to achieve those goals. Now they are shutting down the chain & moving to Base to build consumer apps there instead. Honestly, during all that time I barely heard about any apps on Sophon. The only thing I really remember is the airdrop for ZK power users, but that's all. They had a good start, but later just lost momentum. This whole situation shows that we no longer need more L2s. Instead, focus should be on building actual products rather than ghost chains that nobody uses (or only uses to farm airdrops). Building something unique, something that people will continue using even after the airdrop occurs, is the new meta.

“Fraud oracle”UMA's website claims that they are a "decentralized truth machine" which is really funny to read when more than 40% of the voting power in their oracle is controlled by just a handful of wallets (10 or less). That's the opposite of decentralization. They also have nothing to do with “truth” when whales holding a major share of the token supply influence dispute outcomes on Polymarket in their favor. We have seen plenty of examples of that & a lot of people lost money. It’s high time for Polymarket to move away from UMA & switch to something that is truly unbiased & decentralized.

“Great crypto neobank”I like KAST & the tech behind it. Cashback rewards, yield on idle balance & easy top-ups with stablecoins. You don't need to convert anything. Just use your card almost anywhere you want, like a usual Web2 one. But there are things worth mentioning - they need to support more countries. For instance, you can pass KYC with Ukrainian docs, but you can't enter a Ukrainian phone number. In Turkey, as far as I know, card service provision was suspended, etc. Also, you can't pay with KAST in every shop. I have seen this issue in Ukraine (some people managed to ask friends who live abroad to help register the card & have been testing it here) & even in countries directly supported by KAST. Still, it is a great crypto card to use.

“Good crypto data tool, but (read the review)”To begin with, I like CMC. It was my first crypto data platform back in 2021. You can create portfolios with your positions, track all your stats & if you actively trade on Binance (yes, CMC is owned by Binance), you can even import your holdings from there. Besides portfolios, you can also create custom watchlists. Today, the site offers a vast amount of data not only for crypto, but also for stocks & prediction markets. It has numerous dashboards, a news feed & almost every piece of market data you could imagine. The main downside, however, is that they have been accused of manipulating the trending rankings. “CEX with one of the worst reputations in the space”If you want to have the most unpleasant experience using an exchange, MEXC is your choice. Throughout its existence, they have been manipulating markets in various forms & using AML (risk control) concerns to block users accounts until they prove that they aren't guilty. If you make good profits from trading or are just an active trader, be sure that risk control is coming for you. MEXC lists all kinds of tokens without properly checking them, which leads to really shady projects appearing on the exchange & users losing money. Like, it ain't a DEX with all possible tokens. You guys are a CEX & must act accordingly. Though money paid for listings seems more valuable than users safety & experience. I would never keep more than $1k on MEXC. And only in case I really need to use this exchange!
