It runs on Base and feels like it targets more advanced degen / pro traders who want CEX‑style perps but want to stay in DeFi at the same time. The team pushes zero trading fees and very high leverage (up to 100x or more on some markets), which is super attractive but also pretty dang risky if markets move fast against you. Liquidity and volumes grew quite fast lately, boosted by aggressive campaigns and the AVNT token narrative, including a big community allocation for traders and contributors. Avantis's team is pretty active On social media and community‑driven, with lots of updates, threads and trading competitions to keep people engaged. Some users love the interface and the RWA markets, others complain about issues like liquidations or execution, so it’s definitly not risk‑free and new users should start small and be carefull.
