From 117 activities · Mar 2026Influential Web3 and NFT voice on crypto Twitter with a large following, known for consistent content on market trends, project analysis, and early-stage opportunities. However, reputation is significantly damaged by undisclosed paid promotions—most notably receiving $8,000 USDC to promote the Trove ICO, which later collapsed as a scam. This led to a formal slash on Ethos with 92.5% community support. Pattern of undisclosed ads, deleted posts after projects failed, and collaborations with questionable projects (DeepNode, others) without clear disclosure undermine credibility despite acknowledgment of past mistakes and some supporters' belief he has learned from them.

invisible · 1280· 1y ago12“A sharp mind in Web3, connecting culture, research, and real on-chain value”wale.moca isn’t just “in Web3” — he’s helping shape the culture and narrative that drives it. Whether it’s his work at @Azuki digging into community and on-chain identity, or building momentum at @moca_network, he brings a rare mix of insight, consistency, and genuine passion. In a space full of noise, he stands out as someone who actually does the work — researching, connecting people, pushing ideas forward. His takes are sharp but grounded, and he always brings value without trying too hard to impress. That’s rare. If you're looking for someone who understands both the art and the architecture of Web3 — culture and infrastructure — wale’s someone to follow closely. Grateful to watch the journey.

krp · 1419· 1y ago12“Unfairly held to higher standard than the rest of CT”I think the recent Trove controversy has unfairly conflated Wale’s character with the ICO scam that followed. KOLs take deals all the time. It is literally their business model. There is no amount of due diligence that can fully negate the risk of a third party scamming. Period. If the criticism were focused purely on undisclosed vs disclosed partnerships, that would be a fairer line of attack. But even then, I do not see a meaningful distinction. I assume all KOL posts are sponsored or paid to some degree. The bigger the account, the stronger that assumption. I also do not see him as any net negative to the space. He is doing exactly what a KOL should be doing, posting because they are sponsored or paid. For some reason, he has been held to a higher standard than the rest of CT.

He maintains one of the top mind shares on the app for a very good reason. Top insights and his posts are engaging without being negative. A breath of fresh air in my opinion.

G6🐉 · 1510· 1y ago17“Yapper without insight”I no longer believe in those yapper who calling great projects everyday to get yap reward and then leave the project right after TGE. Yapper might win, projects might win but the community might not. That's the familiar points of the recent projects, look at Zama and Monad.
