Both are valid points But the writing was on the wall, just look at the ecosystem, there is nothing of value, no killer apps. It's like a copy paste of every other L2 chain out there. Eclipse is an SVM, but it brings no fresh new concepts to this space. Just $2m in TVL, my advice, EXIT ASAP!

I have a large majority of stables and ETH on Blast, the reason being, the native yield on $ETH and $USDB Simply having assets parked on the chain, gives yield with no exposure to defi-related hacks. Another plus, is the Blast app's Earn function, it's one of the best farms out there. Now the bad, it's a ghost chain, all the big dapps have moved onto other networks, poor communication (no intern account) and lack of presence on X and a poorly planned post TGE have all contributed to the downfall. Updates and new additions are slow to be released, in comparison, competitor projects are bringing out new releases at a much faster rate (Abstract, Infinex, Defi.App) There is a vision for Blast, but right now it is all in Pacman's noggin.

The team kept building and in 2025 they were rewarded bigly! Huge surge in TVL, thanks to fast and reliable multichain support. They are quick off the mark, and many great lending and borrowing opportunities arrive with decent apy and in some cases token rewards too!

One of the few BTC defi projects which was quick at onboarding industrial heavyweights such as Aave, Morpho, Eigen, this shows the team has some serious muscle! Even non EVM chains such as SUI now support it, a sign the the team is hard working and fast to push out updates. Frequent collabs with many protocols, just look at the dashboard and you'll see how in-depth their LST networking system they have created truly is!
