From 2 activities · Apr 2026World pioneered human verification through orbs and is building an ecosystem for human-backed AI agents, rewarding verified users with WLD tokens monthly. The protocol faces ongoing criticism regarding tokenomics—including allegations of unfair distribution favoring the team and major VCs—and user acquisition practices that have been compared to MLM schemes, with concerns about inflated numbers from developing countries and verified accounts being sold cheaply on secondary markets.

Vakkuda · 1154· 1y ago25“A Bold Vision with Real-World Impact”The "World" listing on Ethos Network showcases a compelling and well-structured project that genuinely seeks to bridge the gap between decentralized transparency and real-world engagement. What sets this initiative apart is not just its ambition, but the authenticity of its execution. The team behind it is clearly committed to fostering an open ecosystem, where facts are validated on-chain and discussions are driven by community consensus rather than manipulation. Their proactive stance on accountability, visible through well-documented threads and data-backed claims, reinforces trust and credibility in the Web3 space. Furthermore, the UI/UX design of the platform allows for seamless interaction, giving users the ability to voice reviews, concerns, or endorsements in a meaningful way. I especially appreciate the review feature — it gives power to the community, encourages participation, and deters centralized misinformation.

MunchMunch · 1257· 1y ago9“A Promising yet Risky Venture”Worldcoin is an ambitious cryptocurrency project designed to create a global digital currency accessible to everyone, leveraging biometric technology like iris scanning for identity verification. It’s a bold idea with the potential to revolutionize financial systems, but it also comes with significant risks that cannot be overlooked. This review offers a neutral take on Worldcoin, highlighting both its strengths as a facilitator of innovation and the uncertainties that temper its promise.

P_nther. · 1278· 1y ago9“Where Identity Meets the Blockchain”Worldcoin is bold, controversial, and undeniably ambitious. Scanning eyeballs for a global proof of personhood sounds like sci-fi but they're doing it. Whether you see it as dystopian or visionary, it’s pushing boundaries others won’t touch. One of the most polarizing experiments in crypto equal parts awe and alarm.

Piz · 1197· 1y ago8“Although they brand the company as "World", this is the same company that makes Worldcoin”I'm giving a neutral rating due to the company seemingly doing what it promised - to scan irises and verify proof of humanity, but there have also been lawsuits and legal action against them. They were banned from Spain, and fined for failing to inform users of the purpose of the data collection and its retention period. I personally would not let them scan my eye and retain the data.
