“An Essential Part of the Fishing Frenzy Experience”@xdereklau has become one of my favorite people to follow in the Web3 gaming space. As part of the Fishing Frenzy team, he consistently shares updates, insights and small details that make you feel closer to the project. For me, that adds a lot of value because Fishing Frenzy is not just another game I try out, it is genuinely one of the ones I enjoy playing the most. What really stands out is the way Derek communicates. His posts are not just simple announcements, they carry a sense of excitement and show how much he and the team care about the community. You can feel that passion reflected in the game itself, which is why it keeps getting better and why players like me keep coming back. I also appreciate how open he is to feedback and interaction. It gives the impression that the community’s voice truly matters, and that makes you feel part of something bigger than just a game. It is a reminder that Web3 projects can be both fun and collaborative when the right people are behind them. Overall, following @xdereklau gives me not only a closer connection to Fishing Frenzy but also to the spirit of what Web3 gaming should be about: fun, innovation and community. If you play or are curious about the game, I can honestly say his updates make the experience even better.

“Knows how to mix community and product”Got to know Derek through Fishing Frenzy. A lot of Web3 games come and go, but he kept shipping through the ups and downs. Players suggest stuff, and you actually see it show up in updates. That kind of loop between community and builder is rare, and it’s why the game keeps improving

“Builder Who Actually Delivers”I’ve been following Derek’s work in Web3 gaming for a while, and he’s one of the few founders who truly understands both the tech and the player side. Every project he’s touched feels thoughtful, polished, and community-driven. He listens, adapts, and builds with real intention not just for hype. It’s rare to see that level of consistency and care in this space, and it’s exactly what makes his projects stand out.

“The Man Who Changed My View of WEB3 Games”This man changed my view of WEB3 games. All the gaming projects I played before were monotonous and boring, and got boring after a couple of weeks. His brainchild, Phishing Frenzy, changed my view of blockchain games. I have been playing every day for six months now and am not tired at all. My morning consistently starts with Phishing Frenzy. My friends, far from the world of cryptocurrencies, also happily cast their fishing rods every morning and wait for new updates. And yes, he is a responsive person, not greedy for likes, which is also very nice.

“Exemplary Builder”Builds in public & is very vocal with the good & the bad - which showcases humility as a builder in a space where everyone is too focused on the positive. He's actually tapped into the trenches & is not afraid to experiment. Glad to see him get more recognition now.
