Afraa is a deeply respected Web3 community member known for breaking down complex crypto and DeFi concepts with clarity and patience. Active across projects including Mitosis, Eclipse, Union, Lens, and Farcaster, they consistently demonstrate genuine kindness, reliability, and integrity while helping others navigate the space. Praised for spotting valuable projects early, creating thoughtful content on Twitter, and maintaining calm, supportive presence even under pressure—combining sharp analytical insight with a rare sense of fairness and community-first approach.

“A fragile castle that came crashing down”Many projects have made big promises and then turned out to be scams, exploiting their users’ time and energy. But Eclipse did it on a whole different level. They sold the very heart, love, and trust of their community (the same users they once called family) for money, betraying them in the worst possible way. The financial damage was huge, but the psychological blow to all the loyal supporters who backed them every step of the way was even deeper. I’m certain this pain will stay with us for a long time. All the beautiful words and big slogans went up in smoke in a single day. The hype vanished, and when people asked questions or raised concerns, the team’s response was the worst possible: blocks and deletions. No network can survive without its users, and the team knows that. So when they so openly abandoned their most loyal supporters, it became clear they never truly intended to build a real network in the first place. In our culture, we have a saying: “A hollow drum makes the loudest noise.” It refers to someone who makes a lot of sound but has nothing inside. Sadly, that’s exactly what Eclipse turned out to be. Maybe we realized it too late, or maybe we didn’t want to believe it because of how much we cared. But in the end, their dreams and promises weren’t real vision or action, they were nothing more than the cunning tricks of a sly fox, like in the story of Pinocchio.on Eclipse · 384· 1y ago · negative16
