“When Technical Innovation Falls Victim to Unfair Policies”As someone who has worked with Starknet for a while, I can say that from a technical perspective, the network is truly powerful. The transaction speed, scalability, and use of advanced technologies like zk-Rollups make for an interesting experience. Even in terms of being developer-friendly, the documentation and tools are relatively complete and up to date. On the other hand, the team’s policies regarding token distribution and adding strange eligibility filters have dealt a major blow to user trust. Many people who genuinely used the network were excluded from receiving tokens due to unclear criteria. This approach has created a sense of disrespect toward the community. The reality is that while Starknet may have built a solid technical infrastructure, when it disappoints a large part of its user base, the incentive to keep using it drops. Now it seems that despite its strong technology, the network doesn’t really have many active users, and this gap between technical quality and community management could become a problem in the future.

“OTG Shows Web3 Gaming Has Real Potential”Despite not liking battle royales or extraction shooters, OTG completely surprised me. Its limb mechanics, fast mobility, and vertical movement made it feel different from anything I’d played before. The user experience stood out—no wallet popups or approvals—just a smooth experience for both Web2 and Web3 players. I also appreciated the model where only paid users can extract value from the ecosystem. After hearing Piers from Delphi talk about how Web3 can enhance Battle Pass systems by adding scarcity to cosmetics, it all made more sense.
