Instead, rewards will go to those whose contributions had the most impact, while every member remains part of the foundation we’re building together. The team is doing their best to filter out sybils. Here are a few techniques employed, to illustrate the point: Checking IP addresses (whether a node is coming from an industrial instead of residential IP) Checking email domains (whether it looks like a personal email or a mass generated one with private domain) Checking workload completion (some sybils have been simulating BLESS nodes and not actually completing the workloads passed to them) Checking social media & on-chain credentials (whether the account’s linked Twitter, Discord, and on-chain wallet behave like a real Blessed community member instead of a bot employed by farming studios) And more We understand this process isn’t perfect, and a few genuine users may be marked ineligible. For example, accounts that look too similar to farming studios, or users who only began running a node last month despite passing every other check, may not qualify for Season 0. Beyond obvious sybil attempts, any user made ineligible for Season 0 airdrop will have their record carried over to the Season 1 Airdrop, where we could further filter down and provide everyone a rightful share in the Shared Computer. 3. Claim and Redemption for TIME: After the validation process is finished, we will begin the claim and redemption process for TIME. While although the airdrop farmers make up 50% of accounts, they will only receive (50*1)/(50*8+50*1) = 50/450 = 11.11% of the airdrop pool. Accounts that do not decide how to redeem BLESS by the end of the 14 day period will not lose their airdrop. An 18-month stake will be applied as default. 4. Receiving BLESS It will be evident how many BLESS tokens one will receive once everyone makes their redemption decision. You will be able to see this number directly on the Bless Dashboard, and be able to withdraw it either immediately or when the staking duration concludes.
