From 475 activities · Apr 2026ZachXBT is a widely respected independent on-chain investigator who exposes crypto scams, rug pulls, hacks, and stolen funds through meticulous blockchain forensics and detailed evidence-based research. Known for tracing wallets, identifying bad actors, and helping victims recover assets, they have built a reputation for rigorous, fact-driven work that prioritizes transparency and community protection over hype or popularity. While nearly universally praised for integrity and impact, one review raises concerns about selective justice and unequal scrutiny of powerful versus smaller players.

Andrea Falcon · 1338· 1y ago10“Detective Conan of Web3”Man, Zach is honestly one of the people in Web3 I really respect. He is not out here chasing hype, he is actually bringing accountability. You probably know him as that anonymous blockchain investigator, and he has basically made a name for himself by exposing scams, frauds, and thefts in both crypto and NFTs. He has been at it for a while too, tracking transactions, following stolen funds, calling out shady influencer deals, and even working with law enforcement sometimes. The way he uses the blockchain like a detective tool is wild, digging into patterns, tracing movements, and really putting in the work. He has already helped people avoid losing money and brought a lot of awareness to things that would have slipped by otherwise. Following him feels like getting a reality check in a space that sometimes gets carried away with shiny distractions.

Biglionaire · 1299· 1y ago7“ZachXBT, an essential reference for integrity in crypto”ZachXBT is now one of the most respected on-chain investigators in the ecosystem. Through public analyses, documented threads, and meticulous tracking, he has exposed numerous cases of fraud, hacks, and abusive behavior, often where no one else took the time or risk to do so. His work has become a central source for understanding flows, identifying malicious actors, and establishing facts in an often opaque environment. In an ecosystem where trust is fragile, ZachXBT plays a key and concrete role. He brings transparency, rigor, and a form of accountability that is still sorely lacking in crypto. We need more people like him in the industry.

“One of the best people I know”This is my first review on Ethos, and I believe Zach truly deserves it. Zach is one of those rare individuals whose words carry clarity and honesty. When he speaks, you can trust that what’s being said reflects the reality of the situation direct, thoughtful, and grounded in truth. I've also learnt a lot from him.
