ZachXBT is a widely respected independent on-chain investigator who exposes crypto scams, rug pulls, hacks, and stolen funds through meticulous blockchain forensics and detailed evidence-based research. Known for tracing wallets, identifying bad actors, and helping victims recover assets, they have built a reputation for rigorous, fact-driven work that prioritizes transparency and community protection over hype or popularity. While nearly universally praised for integrity and impact, one review raises concerns about selective justice and unequal scrutiny of powerful versus smaller players.

“The internet’s on-chain Sherlock”ZachXBT is one of the few people in this space who actually cares. He doesn’t just tweet for likes — he digs deep, exposes scammers, and protects the community. I’ve learned a lot from his threads, and I know I’m not the only one. In a space full of hype and noise, Zach brings signal. Clear, detailed, honest. You can feel that he’s not here for clout — he’s here because it matters. The amount of time and effort he puts into research is insane. We need more people like him if we want crypto to survive long term. Big respect for everything he does. Thank you, Zach. Keep doing what you’re doing.

“Primitive ETHOS”We can think of it as the one-man ETHOS before it became Ethos, Zach I, because it did the job. And I think it was the best of its kind in exposing scammers. It still is. His contribution to wep3 is undeniable and I think he could be one of the originators of ETHOS. We can also define him as the first philosopher in the field of security.

“web3 batman”there is no better sleuth in the rat-infested gotham of web3 than zach. continuing to root out and expose the bad actors only serves to boost the credibility of the space and combat harmful narratives and stereotypes.
