ZachXBT is a widely respected independent on-chain investigator who exposes crypto scams, rug pulls, hacks, and stolen funds through meticulous blockchain forensics and detailed evidence-based research. Known for tracing wallets, identifying bad actors, and helping victims recover assets, they have built a reputation for rigorous, fact-driven work that prioritizes transparency and community protection over hype or popularity. While nearly universally praised for integrity and impact, one review raises concerns about selective justice and unequal scrutiny of powerful versus smaller players.

“be humble even more”He has done a lot of solid research over the years and brought valuable information to the CT community. That work deserves recognition. But calling people “subhuman” “low IQ” or dragging family backgrounds into arguments crosses a line that shouldn’t be crossed. Comments like that don’t strengthen a point they only damage the credibility of the person making them.It creates the impression of someone positioning themselves as a “CT god,” when in reality most people here are simply trying to learn, share information, and ultimately make money for themselves and their families. There’s also an element of hypocrisy when harsh remarks are made publicly and then deleted after backlash. If anything, someone with a reputation for strong investigations should hold themselves to a higher standard.Being influential in a community comes with responsibility. A bit more humility in how criticism is delivered would go a long way.Respectful discourse preserves credibility, while insults only overshadow the good work that has been done.

“Awesome detective he became”Zach started out like many of us, he got scammed. In 2018 he lost quite a money in a hack and he began studying how blockchains work so he could understand what happened. From that curiosity he taught himself on chain investigation(really awesome), digging into public blockchain data and learning how to trace where stolen funds move. (want to learn from him too). Over the years he’s published hundreds of detailed investigations into scams, rug pulls, phishing rings and large hacks. He takes complicated blockchain flows and turns them into stories that regular people can follow. His work has helped show how billions of dollars in illicit crypto activity operate and flagged patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed. Hope he continue his works as he bring em all to the LIGHT!

“Crypto detective”Probably one of the few accounts whose posts I actually want to reread, since the information shared there is super interesting at least for me. People like this are exactly the kind of value the space really needs but often lacks.
