From 475 activities · Apr 2026ZachXBT is a widely respected independent on-chain investigator who exposes crypto scams, rug pulls, hacks, and stolen funds through meticulous blockchain forensics and detailed evidence-based research. Known for tracing wallets, identifying bad actors, and helping victims recover assets, they have built a reputation for rigorous, fact-driven work that prioritizes transparency and community protection over hype or popularity. While nearly universally praised for integrity and impact, one review raises concerns about selective justice and unequal scrutiny of powerful versus smaller players.

kizzy ⚡️ · 1272· 1y ago11“Master investigatoor”Zach is probably one of the top, and best known investigators in crypto. Always hunting down bad actors and exposing them where he sees wrongdoing. Very good at on chain analytics allowing him to find connections between wallets/people.

emil · 1275· 1y ago11“The Sherlock Holmes of Web3”Zach is one of the overwhelming positives of the space. He's tracked and investigated so many fraudulent actors, has helped recovered tens of millions of dollars and has help expose so many scammers and grifters. The space has a bad rep for scams and fraudulent actions, and it's people like Zach who help keep it straight.

22pepe🐯 · 1225· 1y ago11“Lucky friend”That guy we're lucky to have as a friend. He's doing a white hat job on web3, revealing scams, money laundering and all the black gambling that goes on here. Zach's a super-hero in real life.

John B. · 1248· 1y ago11“What needs to be said”A gallant defender of those who have been wronged within web3. Some may be upset he charges a fee these days but the work that is done is second to none. A first market mover in blockchain investigation and the first to call out a lot of bad players. Hopefully the precedent that is set, and the fact that those who blockchain wrong can be found, means that we get more like Zach and less of the bad players.

Chuck · 1332· 1y ago11“The CIA of Web3 & On-Chain Detective”Zach is an on-chain detective who has been helping web3/CT from hacking, scam, rug, exploit and related issues in crypto. Zach has recorded and created a full history of what they did and what happened after it happened with a full on-chain history breakdown that will lead to the suspect. That's very evident because Zach uses data from their footprint on the blockchain and other data from social media and even their lives IRL. Zach even provides assistance or suggestions to the project to make improvements before major problems occur. Zach to me is an angel for web3, because without Zach we never know who has done bad things that impact the ecosystem in cryptocurrency. I'm rooting for Zach to always be like that and for him to succeed. I hope he's always safe in the IRL.
