ZachXBT is a widely respected independent on-chain investigator who exposes crypto scams, rug pulls, hacks, and stolen funds through meticulous blockchain forensics and detailed evidence-based research. Known for tracing wallets, identifying bad actors, and helping victims recover assets, they have built a reputation for rigorous, fact-driven work that prioritizes transparency and community protection over hype or popularity. While nearly universally praised for integrity and impact, one review raises concerns about selective justice and unequal scrutiny of powerful versus smaller players.

“Sherlock Holmes of crypto”if you are in the crypto and especially into Web3 you have probably seen his investigations and contributions to the community. The amount of scam project he exposed and protected us from being rugged by them is countless. and I specially like the amount of research he does before coming to a conclusion. which makes him a sort of superhero in web3.

“Doing the Work Nobody Else Wants To”Zach doesn’t chase clout, followers, or hype, he just does the hard work quietly and consistently. In a space where most people look the other way, he looks closer. His reports remind me that transparency still matters in Web3, and that one person can actually make a difference.

“Our Hercule Poirot”I read how ZachXBT at Consensus 2024 figured out a live rug pull with evidence of $2.6 million in transactions in real time. That really impressed me. His detective work to recover $243 million stolen in Bitcoin led to the arrest of two hackers in the US. I remember how he tracked down the cybercriminals who stole the assets in just one month, using only public blockchain tools and OSINT. Working with him on investigations shows his exceptional mastery of blockchain forensics, from Chainalysis to Arkham Intelligence. Our Hercule Poirot

“ZachXBT – The Crypto Vigilante”ZachXBT stands as a prominent and bold figure in the crypto space: a self-taught investigator who dares to expose what many prefer hidden. While his approach may invite skepticism or controversy, the consistency of evidence-backed investigations and the magnitude of scams he has traced make him a formidable force. With clearer collaboration and enhancing defensibility of his work, his role could shift from vigilante to recognized authority in crypto justice.
