on Lido · 1784· 1y ago37“Clout.me never delivered”I don't know anything about Ben other than he is the founder of Clout.me, which was an app to launch personality based memecoins. His was the first to launch and 'bond', and traded at a decent MC for a few days. However, the platform never was flushed out and I never saw any of the other tokens come to market. This is not a negative review because I don't think he ever rugged or blatantly grifted, but definitely created a bunch of hype and didn't deliver - and probably made some decent $$$ on his own coin.

It just recently launched, so it is too early to tell if it is going to be adopted or useful. Something to keep an eye on for sure, and a very cool innovation, but the jury is still out on this one.

But after months of hanging around and interacting, it's become evident that Emilios is a true G. He's one of those people that makes me feel dumb when I read his takes - very dialed in, able to digest a lot of info and produce helpful summaries and takeaways. Clearly Emilios.eth has been at this for awhile. Another one of the impressive people I've gotten to know through Ethos. Respect!

They were quick to introduce new tooling, wallet compatibility, and great UI to really add fuel to the ordinal market in 2023/2024. While others lagged, they innovated, including having runes trading available on day 1 of the protocol launch. They've done a great job in the BTC eco.

While most of the platforms and agents from the AI agent craze have died out, Virtuals has stuck around and continues to build with active staking and burn incentives. I'm no longer invested in the ecosystem, but it has been profitable for those who are tuned in. From my perspective, they are the winners from this meta.
