The allegations involved abusing the Ethos system by creating sybil accounts, manipulating positive reviews, and manipulating vouches. This review is intended to capture this fact. Through a fair consensus, a decision was made to strip Berlin of some of his credibility score, which means recognizing him as a sybil, as well as recognizing other accounts included in the slash round as having a direct or indirect relationship to him. Some of the accounts presented in the slash-round have been spotted in other incidents involving abuse and involvement in a sybil network.

For a long time, he created content about news, airdrops, updates, and everything else related to that ecosystem. "Osmo" in his username means "Osmosis", a direct reference to the project. He was part of Osmosis in marketing and community work for several years. Later, he became an ecosystem independent KOL. Since the stagnation of the Cosmos ecosystem and the changes that occurred there, he shifted his focus to the global CT and various projects, entering into paid partnerships for promotions and, in some cases, working directly as a team member. Overall, he is a pretty average influencer with his own audience and reputation.

It uses modern and reliable encryption technologies. All its functionality is designed to make your communication as private as possible. There are no metadata of any kind, no identification. It works on multiple platforms, has open source code, and is decentralized. Local storage of contacts and groups. The messenger is very well thought out. The founder, [Evgeny Poberezkin](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/epoberezkin), is a public figure with considerable development experience. He is originally from Russia and lives in the UK. The project was founded around 2021.

Base itself has already [reposted](https://x.com/apyx_fi/status/2044785204779434330) them. The main feature of Apyx is that they aim to make stablecoins profitable and offer high APY. The APY, as I understand it, comes from DATs. In simple terms about the concept: A user buys apxUSD, locks it in a vault, receives wrapped apyUSD with a 30-day cooldown. These users receive a proportional share of the income from TradFi custody (dividends paid by DATs), and these dividends go toward proportional rewards for lockers, which is reflected as APY. They received a $3 million strategic fundraise from a fund that came from Web2 and completely shifted its focus to Web3 (previously, as far as I know, the fund invested in real estate). Regarding future investments, they have a clear position: they have rejected VC backing in their statements. The user base is growing slowly but steadily. A small DeFi project focused on yield, without unnecessary hype.

The display name is a domain name, which may carry risks. The Twitter account was created in 2010 and shows signs of being warmed up and auto-registered for future sale. Be careful. If more positive and reliable information appears in the future, I will remove this review.

The team aims to provide a complete and useful data source for those who care about such things. Their Twitter account is consistently active, posting updates and various news. They have an API and integrations with Claude and others. The team launched it in 2022 from a simple idea born during a hackathon. Initially, it had only basic features, but then they took off and started actively developing it. Two years ago, they rebranded previously, they were called "TokenUnlocks". As far as I know, the initial version was very difficult to understand, and they had to simplify it so that users could “digest” it. To me, this indicates that the project is backed by some really smart guys.

The product is self-custody type and supports multiple networks. The main focus is on stablecoins. It supports usernames for addresses. Launched in April 2026. It comes with a BTC faucet; the review for it is [here](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/701759/btc-faucet).

He invested in dozens of projects (Bitcoin.com, Blockchain.com, BitPay, Kraken, and others), was the first to make his store MemoryDealers accept BTC, and generously gave away bitcoins. A libertarian, former US citizen (renounced his citizenship in 2014), now lives in Japan. Supported Bitcoin Cash after the 2017 hard fork. In 2025, settled a tax case with the US without prison time. A very well-known person in crypto. When he had issues with the US, he received great support from the community. I think modern crypto owes him respect. Initially received small funding from [Roger Ver](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/rogerkver) and [Tim Lee](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/timlee01). Implemented the [Lelantus Spark](https://firo.org/2021/08/24/presenting-lelantus-spark.html) technology. Only in recent years did it receive funding of approximately $250k from an organization that handles donations for the development of privacy technologies. Respected by the community Monero. The project is not particularly popular, but the founders are good people who themselves do not forget about charity. The coin can be very volatile on exchanges. Key people: [Poramin Insom](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/InsomPoramin) (founder, that same student) [Reuben Yap](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/reubenyap), co-founder and Project Steward. Peter Shugalev, Lead dev. Old name of the project "Zcoin".

He used to be anonymous under various names, but in 2024 he doxxed himself and has become even more active since then. In a community focused on privacy, he is naturally a respected person. Fun fact: his name is Jean-Paul Thorbjornsen (I'm mentioning this because he revealed it himself). Previously, he was behind the co-founding of [CanYa](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/canyacoin) (another crypto project from 2017). They organized an ICO and raised 11,000 ETH. Essentially, the project aimed to become a crypto analag to Upwork. It didn't last long, having run into some legal issues. Those were tough times for crypto. After that, he switched to developing THORChain. Another [review](https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/701176/reliable-decentralized-crypto-exchange) of the project.

This profile closely resembles others I've reviewed before: [https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/625154/fake-influencer-shilling-memecoins-dubious-projects] Some of them promoted the same token or project. You can notice an identical style across each post, generated by AI and using its typical emojis. Cheap promotion through a cheap Twitter account.
